Another recommendation from walking tour. We came here for breakfast and it was a decent experience. I love the package add on where you can get a cup of coffee, fruits or agua del Dia, bread and homemade jam for 50 pesos extra, that is a good deal. Sitting at the patio and people watching is a special thing here in this cafe (indoor seating is also available but nobody sits there unless the patio is full). When we arrive, another table has a musician guest who was picking his violin and later playing guitar so we got a special mini concert while enjoying our breakfast. I love the homemade jam they served, Mango and Ginger, not sweet but great flavor. The portion of the breakfast is smaller compare to Chavela we went yesterday but we are happy with the portion. Coffee (Americana) is average. Servers are kind, patient and always with a smile. They also accept credit card.

Ended up going here on the last couple days of our visit to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Stopped in to pick up some bread, as it had been referred to us. We got the bread and than decided to have some light lunch. We all had salads and one of us had a sandwich as well. The salad I had was simply amazing. The flavors in the dressing were perfect and combined with the salads ingredients. It was such good a meal, we ended up going back for the breakfast the next morning. What a great way to end our stay. Definitely one of the best vegetarian places I've ever eaten. Cheers!

A must-visit in San cristobal! We went for lunch and all had the chilaquiles and they were one of the best things we’ve eaten in Mexico (with chorizo and refrijoles). We also went there for pastries before our long bus to palenque, and also for drinks - the banana & cacao smoothie is great! Service isn’t the fastest but enjoy the vibe! Amazing value too

Positive: Good location. Breakfast was good. You can smell the delicious bakery every morning.. Negative: There was no common area to hang out in. Only if you sit at the table in the kitchen. You had to chill in your bedroom. We were able to check out and store our bags and use the facilities as we had a late bus to catch. This is what every other hostel and guest house has allowed us to do in our 4 months of travelling. After we had cooked some lunch the host told us that he was going to charge 100 pesos for the use of the kitchen since we did not have a reservstion. This was ridiculous. We left and did not pay. That was the only issue. Otherwise everything...

Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes for a lemonade, another 45 for the croissant (which only came 2 minutes after asking if they forgot), another 10 minutes for the check after asking, and when i asked if they'd give a discount for the terrible service and wasted time they served us, they generously gave a 15 peso discount 🤣 of which they actually forgot to give because the check was for full price. Place is a joke. If you want a delicious breakfast and great service, go to Maya Pakal on Francisco l Madera. It's not vegan but you can find vegan options. They have breakfast packets that are the best I've found yet and...
