Horrible horrible service. I used to go to this restaurant very often, and I will NOT be going there again. They made my friends coffee hot when she asked for a cold one. When I went up to ask for them to make it cold, the lady at the register said they'd already made it and would not make it again. I explained that I am a loyal customer who comes often, and if she could please make it cold because that was how it was originally ordered, and she refused to remake it. My friend said it was fine, so I didn't push any further. Then, when I went to get my drink, I noticed that the drink looked different than it normally was. I asked her if it was decaf, and she said that it was (I am very sensitive to caffeine and ALWAYS make sure to get decaf everywhere I go). I looked at the receipt and noticed that nowhere on the receipt/ticket did it say decaf, so the person making the drink would not have known to make it decaf. I went up again and asked very politely (I am determined to never be a Karen like my mom is) if she could double check that it is decaf because I am very sensitive to caffeine. She then told me that it wasn't decaf and that they could not remake the drink. I asked very politely if they could remake it because I clearly said decaf. She said no and I said that I would please like to talk to a manager. She then said they could remake it, snatched the old drink from my hand, then went to were the baristas were and was talking loudly about how they needed to remake the drink and started making rude faces to me. A couple of minutes later, they set a drink on the counter where other people were waiting and did not acknowledge me, so I assumed it wasn't mine. Waited for several minutes before one of the baristas leaned over and said there's your drink in a very impolite way. I strive to not be a Karen and always be very friendly and accommodating everywhere I go, but this is the second time I've had pretty awful service at this restaurant. I do not recommend anyone go there because there is a big chance they will mess up your orders, and you will get mistreated...

Nothing bad, outdoor seating is usually first come first serve. If you're in luck, there is usually nearby live music/live performer on the street as the entire Primera block (2) is closed off on Saturday and Sunday.

For service: It's why they get a one star. Nothing against the waiter, but with management. For some odd reason after purchasing a glass of wine after a bottle purchase between 2 people, the glass was delayed for an extraordinarily long time. Just my girlfriend and I taking in the scenery, listening to the live music and seldom talk about random stuff that popped into either of our minds. By the way, the glass size is equivalent to half a standard sized wine bottle.

When waiting for ~25 minutes for asking our check, we just got up from where we sat in the outdoor seatin area. Mind you; there were multiple waiters coming and going, no one asked us nor had the idea to go, "maybe I should check on that couple to get them out of that table to get more customers in."

Management did NOT want to accept my VISA card due to them FINALLY handling me the glass of wine I ordered more than half an hour ago right at the cash register. Management said he would not accept payment until I sit back down and finish my glass of wine. Either you argue politely in a foreign country due to their reason of "we can't accept refunds because we just opened a bottle for this glass" and get a 5 star stay in a Mexican jail cell or you take their demand. So I chugged my glass of wine at the cash register as the old man groaned, begging me not to do this in front of his customers. I told the cash register attendant that do not worry, it isn't your fault. If you're reading this còmpá, I hope you're doing well.

The house wine was ok, nothing to praise about. The random live music guests who set up shop in the middle of the street made the night personally well for my girlfriend and I.

Would I come back here again? Just like my silly cat that went up state to a farm to hang out with other kitties, that answer is going to be a...

Service was terrible. The waiter didn't check on us even once. I got breakfast at 9:30am and they said they were out of chilaquiles but that they could make them but I was the last person they would make them for 🤔. When I did finally get my food the white sauce on the chilaquiles was flavorless and they were very greasy. It was pricey for bad service and tasteless food. Mine was supposed to come with beans but it didnt. When we paid we told them and they didnt even offer a discount. No tortillas or salsa was offered for anyone at my table. Will not...

Highly recommend this cafe for delicious food, great ambience and customer service. We had vegetarian options for lunch and enjoyed the sandwiches. Tried the sourdough Portobello mushroom sandwiches with fries and focaccia Mediterranean sandwich for dinner yesterday. This morning, we stopped by for coffee and tres leches cake. Best tres leches I have had. Loved the addition of nuts, less soggy and great textured cake. Staff is very customer friendly and pleasant. The space is extremely elegant and clean.

The menu is filled with desirable dishes, unfortunately for us we couldn’t take the time to wait. However, the coffee to go was my go to spot on a number of occasions and I found the Toffee Frappe my favorite! Next visit we will make time to wait and eat a delicious meal. Especially on Saturday night with the live band playing!

Clean local, coffee (Oaxacan) is good, food is great. I guarantee you will enjoy having breakfast there, omelette, pan cakes, chilaquiles. Across from this place there’s a bakery if your only looking for coffee and crescent.
