Stayed here many times. Overall, a great experience except for one man and the wifi.||||Gym is great. Tea selection is excellent. ||||Excellent location too with ample parking. Staff were friendly and amazing- notably front desk young man Sebastian and short, healthy, hairy man that is middle aged.||||However sorry to share this but I have to, the one front desk man, Eduardo, was a red flag and rude. Even other co employees seemed disgruntled with him. I have always loved Mexico's people and warmth, except for this one man sadly who severely dragged the "service" score down.||||Eduardo was always very GRUMPY, always on his cellphone, and borderline rude. And these were encounters with him in separate days and shifts. He doesnt seem to be fit in the service and hospitality industry with a bad attitude like that. For example, he frowns when you ask something like "where's the other frappe coffee maker", he'd say "Hmmm!?" with a low, condescending tone.||||Check in was troublesome too as it took 20 mins. He insisted I had 3 reserved rooms, whereas I only had two since the other room was cancelled on Expedia. Terrible! He may excel at working at solo jobs with minimal human interaction.||||Eduardo seemed annoyed whenever you'd talk to him or even just greet him "Buenos Dias". He's that bad. He needs to be audited by a "mystery shopper".||||We're usually very forgiving and understanding cause he may have had a bad day or a big problem but he needs to leave these outside the door in the hospitality industry. His rudeness and stoicism have happened in many instances. ||||You'd definitely lose customers and co-workers with such a ghastly attitude.:(||||Wifi is terribly slow at 3-4 MBPS, auto...
Read moreSadly i cant go any lower than one star but i will leave two because the hotel crew was nice. This hotel was extremely dirty and had roaches. We only stayed for 2 out of the four nights because we couldn't take the roaches. We stayed in one room and our friends stayed in the other. He asked for another room upon arrival because his door wouldn't lock and he saw a roach. We stayed in our room but later that night we saw a roach. The next day we asked to be moved and they told us they would have to charge us for a dirty towel??? Idk if that is a custom in Mexico but it was very unacceptable to say we have to charge you for a dirty towel from your room. We used to towel to wipe up a spill and it was black, meaning that the floor was not properly cleaned. That same night we saw another roach. So we left very disappointed. The hotel is in a nice location dead in the center of everything and is pet friendly but, the cleaners need to do a better job. There was also left over hair in the sink and Bobby pins on the floor. Even in the new room they moved us into, the room was dirty. There was food on the remote for the ac and our door to the balcony where the pool was was broken. The soap dispenser was also broken in the bathroom and the first room we stayed in they put an old hand soap they probably bought from walmart in our room. This hotel needs A L O T of work. The night staff was very friendly and helpful though that was the only plus...
Read moreHello Mr. Owner, thank you for your thoughtful responses to all your negative reviews where you always have a "justified answer". You damaged my vehicle, refused to speak to us and lied about police determining that the damage "had not been done with the motorcycle". The footage of the incident was only shared with us because we involved the police. Also, the parking area is very tight and we were instructed by your employees to put our car by your motorcycle. Worse yet, we were woken up at midnight to move our car by once again, your employees. Why did you speak with someone else about it, but not us? Your response does not even make sense. Your employees demanded that we do not call the police and absolved you of all wrong doing. It is so funny that you are willing to respond to my review yet never showed your face or spoke to us at all, the day of this incident. Moreover, my review will stay and hopefully, others can learn from my mistake to never spend their hard earn money on your terrible establishment. I will most definitely never come back here again and honestly there is no need. There are plenty of other, actually great, hotels in the Ensenada area. Good luck defending yourself with every bad review, instead of betting your establishment. Also, maybe don't park all of your vehicles in an already really small...
