Tour filled with lions, an amazing natural marine geyser, delicious tacos and an ATV ride with a view! The ATV Tour Blowhole from ATV Ensenada Tours was a memorable experience. We were transported in an air conditioned van from their shop to La Bufadora. I was excited to see the big cats at Habana Banana but Enrique the guide said there was a new location and it was on the way. He graciously stopped for a few hours and waited while we went to Pai Pai Ecotourism Park. Unexpected and a little pricey but well worth the experience. To avoid having the driver wait longer note the best experiences are usually the additional experiences. They are very popular and everyone gets about 10-15 minutes of close encounters so I suggest you do those first before the big families come in. All other experiences in your package are timed as well so you might miss a few but I felt the 3 hour wait was more than plenty of time. After visiting the cute baby jaguars we headed to La Bufadora were we spent about 2 hours. Be sure to put in your order at Tacos Lidia's once you get there. It gets crowded with tour buses and many left without their food as the wait was long. The tour made their way back to the van to the shop where we then picked up the ATV to head to the view. The ATV tour went through the streets and hills of Ensenada. The hills were a bit steep and some rough terrain but we managed to get to the top. It being our first time on the ATV we had a lot of fun and Enrique the tour guide was always right in front and not to far ahead...
Read moreWe were on a cruise that only gave us a day in Ensenada. Of all the tours we could pick, we wanted something that would take us through the city, give us a chance to eat local food, and hopefully meet some cool people. The ATV tour with Carlos checked ALL those boxes and more. The “wine tasting” is not a typical overpriced sampling like you would get in wine country with bottles you can’t afford later. The wine destination is a beautiful house in the mountains for wine, cheese, and great conversation. We left with 4 bottles between our 5 person group. The tequila tasting taught you some history, showed you the process of making it, and had more cocktails as chasers. We left with 2 bottles of tequila for our group. After tequila we walked to a local spot and got the best tacos before driving back to the shop to drop off the ATV’s. The drive was scenic, we got amazing pictures, it fueled the adrenaline junkies and also supported the more cautious people in our group. Everyone got something out of it. Our whole tour was just our family and Carlos which made for a great intimate setting and memories for a lifetime. Carlos showed us some local spots and shared a lot of history about the city. I don’t think we could have had a better day in the city and the ATV’s truly gave us the ability to see as much as we did. Everything was clean, working well, and worth the cost. Carlos — thank you for a fantastic day we will remember stories from forever! If you only have time for one excursion, make...
Read moreWe recently went on a 4 day carnival cruise to leaving from Long Beach headed to Ensenada. I found ATV Ensenada from a Google search and booked it immediately. Best decision ever! The booking process was easy, a Venmo deposit which is deducted from the final payment. Once we docked in Ensenada, we easily found Emilio, the owner, waiting for us. We hopped on the bus and headed to the office. Emilio was kind, friendly and professional. Once we arrived, we paid, put on our gear and got ready for our ATV/ZIP line tour. There were 4 of us altogether, 2 whom didn't have experience with ATVs, however they were very easy to learn. Enrique was our tour guide and he was FANTASTIC. Such a helpful and wonderful person. Most of the drive was on main streets, but we felt fine the entire time with Enrique guiding us. The zip line park was on a camp ground and it was great to be around local families. The zip lines and canopies were thrilling and safe. On the ride home we did some off roading. Enrique let us do our thing, which was nice because we didn't want someone micromanaging while we were having fun. We finally ended at this taco shop where we had the best asada and camarones tacos ( no charge for beans and guacamole. winning). Enrique even dropped us off at Papas & Beers. All and all we'd whole heartedly recommend this tour. 10/10 experience, we can't wait...
