Taninos Restaurante — Restaurant in Ensenada

Went for chilis en nogada. Asked waiter if they were available, he said yes. After taking our drink order and serving chips and salsa, the server came to our table and informed us they were out of chilis en nogada. Since we already ordered drinks and started eating chips and salsa, we decided to stay and ordered chili rellanos instead. The chilli rellanos were cold and tasteless, the beans and rice were were ice cold like they were just taken from the refrigerator, and the tortillas appeared and tasted old. The iced tea was excessively sweet and the sangria was just red wine mixed with lemonade. The service was lacking as the server never came back to our table to inquire if everything is alright and if we needed anything. We usually will try an establishment three times before we write them off. This was the third time we were less than impressed, so needless to say, we will not be returning. Our meal was 3 chili rellano plates, 1 jar iced tea, and 2 sangria. Total 1000 mxn. I can get way better food elsewhere...

Prices okay. i went today for breakfast. my wife had croissant with fruit salad. the croosaint was covered in cheese. she claimed it was good. i had eggs with chorizo, with potatoes and beans. the only complain was the chorizo, too greasy. the dish was good, the chilaquiles...

Fui sin mayor espectativa que desayunar bien y resultó exquisito. Necesito regresar por la comida, pero en lo que concierne al desayuno fue excelente. Pedí pan cakes con tocino y huevos revueltos; todo estaba muy bien, incluso solicité a la mesera el tocino crujiente y si lo trajeron como lo pedí. También probé los chilaquiles rojos con carne (tipo machaca de res) y estaba delicioso. Los detalles que no me gustaron pueden ser cuestión de percepción, pero una limonada costó más cara que un jugo de naranja natural y pedí totopos para los frijoles en lugar de tortilla, que me cobraron como extra. Veo que algunas reseñas hablan de la comida servida fría o a temperatura no adecuada. En mi caso todo llegó bien. Definitivamente vuelvo a...
