Tanto Santo Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ensenada

Dec 31,2023: Individual size pizzas have creative flavor combinations. Pizzas are made with Masa Madre (sour dough starter).

Pros: the dough has flavor and the ingredients are fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. We asked for pasta and they brought it from the restaurant next door. The salad had a refreshing taste. We ordered the Purple Rain, Margarita and a summer squash. We order a Nutella Calzone to go. All the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. We are able to see the pizza guys stretch the dough, place ingredients and flash bake pizza in the pizza oven.

Cons: seating was uncomfortable- tables are too close together (we had to share a table with complete strangers. (I guess to avoid this issue, many customers ordered to go and they had lots of take-out orders.

Overall the food, wine and staff were wonderful- I recommend the Purple Rain pizza if you like...

This place is definitely for people who enjoy the finer things in life. It’s located in the most sophisticated block of Ensenada. Multiple businesses (restaurants/brew pub/bar/ice cream/Bodegas de Santo Tomas wine) within the brick made buildings, so once you see La Concheria, it’s just around the corner! The pizza is wonderfully made, traditional style is how I would best describe it without having been to Italy. The crust and just simple margherita was beautifully done, and the two oils with herbs to add to your pizza was a beautiful touch. Our server was great as well and super sweet. The food was especially quick, I think we waited maybe 8 minutes for our pizza! Only 4-5 tables outside so would recommend visiting on a not so busy night or just grabbing for take out to...

"In Bocca al Lupo" is a very unique pizza restaurant. It's very well decorated and in a historic building. I honestly was amazed by the atmosphere. The pizza was made fresh and with fresh ingredients. When I was in Italy I ate at a few pizzerias that had this authentic taste but in Mexico to me was very unique to find.
