Highly recommend stopping by Loot whether for a coffee or for a meal. The coffee was the best we had in Zihua on our entire trip, the cream was what you’d expect at a place in the states - I’m a heavy cream user and usually have to settle for milk when in Mx so was delighted to find the real deal at Loot. I ordered off of their sides selection because I felt like something a little more like home on day four of our trip (eggs scrambled, breakfast potatoes, and house salad). My wife had the Masa Dumplings, which were amazing. The menu is eclectic and creative with a mixture of organic choices paired with local flavors to create a selection that appeals to a wide variety of eaters. The patio is relaxing and well shaded so you’re not sitting in the directed sun, which made drinking coffee in 89 degree weather much more enjoyable. The decor inside is very American hipster - from their cafe racer behind the host table to their surf board hanging on the wall creative combined with Mx style. Parking is sparse, but there are spots in front. Service is amazing and they have a wide variety of other services besides the food and the cocktails. Dinner on the roof or just cocktails, live music Saturday nights. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a must to check out when you’re in...

Unexpectedly stumbled upon this restaurant looking for dinner and it was great. I was surprised that on a Friday night at 8pm the place was empty. We were the only people there.

Such a beautiful and clean space. The design and detail here is amazing. The building is 3 floors.

The food was delicious. We tried the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both made to order and very fresh. The fries are delicious as well. The sandwiches are very large portions.

I had the home sweet home mocktail. It was.....different. The maple syrup is VERY strong. I told my boyfriend it was like drinking strawberry french toast. That’s the best way I could describe it. Not my favorite but something different.

Service was amazing.

They accept both cards and cash. I paid with card and was able to leave a tip this way too.

$535 pesos for...

A gorgeous patio filled with plants and the coziest couches to sit on while enjoying your meal....excellent coffee, sourdough bread, chilaquiles verdes, fruit....Well-priced, high quality, and extremely hospitable! Stop in and order coffee at the counter or sit down for a full service meal. Available for cocktails and dinner too, and I think you can smoke there if that matters to you...Lush, tranquil, delicious! Thank you to the server in the mornings, a young woman, very fun, honest, and attentive. Wish we had found this earlier in our trip so we could have returned more frequently! There's also a food truck in...

What a gem of a place! Open, airy and surrounded by plants, we visited twice for breakfast during our first time visit to Zihuatanejo. Food was good, server was friendly and helpful. The Americano coffee was outstanding; hot fresh and strong like it should be; and liked it so much we bought a pound of beans to take home. Avocado toast and breakfast sandwich also really good. As a suggestion though, fried potatoes instead of salad greens would be nice on the side especially during breakfast hours.
