Owner Vijay now offers Mexican brunch 9 - 3 on Saturday and Sunday. My husband and I have tried Huevos Rancheros in the Mercado Municipal & at Bananas Restaurant. He raved about the Huevos Rancheros at Bananas Restaurant, but for the both of us this is the BEST Huevos Rancheros we have had in Zihua. Delicious with egg fried to your preference, served on tortillas with black beans, the most delicious chorizo and topped with crema. Very bad restaurant. The worst one we have visited in Zihuatanejo. My partner’s chicken was almost raw and the prices are exorbitant for the quality and portion size. We paid over a thousand pesos for two mains served in trays like you see in a prison, two gin and tonics and mango lassis. The food is not particularly authentic either. We also waited an hour to be served our mains and they only had two tables to serve.
