Kash Keken Chuc — Restaurant in Isla Mujeres

This is a hole in the wall spot that you have to try; it is in the middle of the island near the Chadrui Supermarket. Here during the day you will find grilled chicken, pork ribs, and Poc-chuc (similar to country pork ribs), and in the evening at 7 pm you will find plenty of the typical Antojitos Mexicanos. If you want to try some of the antojitos from the region this is the place! We tried the Poc-chuc one day and it was nicely seasoned, you get about 4 oz of meat, a little pouch serving of rice, beans, salad, and plenty of tortillas. In the evening we tried all kinds of antojitos - the empanadas were nice light and fluffy and very tasty; the panuchos, huaraches, y Salbutes were amazing. The food is super tasty and for two (actually 3 ‘cause I ate for 2) we walked out paying less than $300 pesos each time after drinks - BTW they don’t sell alcohol but have juices, aguas frescas so you won’t...

We stop here for the last 4 years every time we visit isla mujeres. Nothing beats a delicious plate of poc chuc, rice and beans for lunch. We have also ordered the ribs, chicken and some tortas but the poc chuc is 👍🏽👍🏽 🔥🔥 they are busy all the time with take out orders and the taxi guys all know it for sure. Thanks guys!!!!

Coming here to Kash Keken Chuc is our favorite meal on our trip to Cancun. Our day trip to Isla Mujeres centers around when we go have Poc Chuc for lunch. 1/2 order feeds my whole fam.
