Al Meraj Grill & Pak Indian Cuisine Providencia — Restaurant in Jalisco

Today I was excited about eating here do to all the good reviews but I was truly disappointed. We were a party of 4 adults and one 5 year old. My kid is very picky with food so we had brought something for him to eat knowing he would refuse to try what they serve here. We asked if it would be possible for him to eat what we brought for him while the rest of us would order so the waitress said it was not allowed, that there's a sign that said it was not allowed but that she would ask of it was possible, I honestly thought it would not be a problem but oh boy was I wrong. When she came back she said it would not be possible for him to eat there, that he would need to order from their menu or step out to eat outside.

Again we were 4 adults that would eat there and everyone was going to order drinks including my kid who was also planning to try a dessert.

The business was almost empty, just 2 other tables so not sure why they were willing to lose a posible frequent customer.

I understand there's rules and even though I was not aware of the sign she mentioned on our first interaction I had the decency to ask first. I do feel this was not a situation where we were trying to take advantage, planing on saving money or anything, but well.

Sorry that you are getting a bad review that has nothing to do with the food you guys serve, rules are ment for a reason but as a business you need to adapt because customers are what keep...

We just left Al Meraj after waiting for more than an hour for a to-go order. Never received the food, yet they brought the check so we could pay. When we asked where the food was, we were told it was almost ready, and even though we were ready to pay expecting the food to come out soon after, they never even brought the credit card terminal. When we started to stand up to leave, a couple that entered after us was leaving and they had already eaten their entire meal AND paid for it while we had nothing. They were just as shocked as we were to see us still sitting there waiting. And they said it wasn’t worth it anyway. So we left....

Really disappointed with today’s food. Asked first chhole Bhature. Chole was awesome but Bhatura was horrible. Hard as brick and thick. Lately came to know Mexican guys preparing Indian food. After asked for a Stuffed paratha was even more horrible the paratha was full of smell of yeast that they use to ferment th Dough. Its very difficult to maintain the quality when u are famous.
