i've had food from here 4 times.
the first time i had their food was through uber eats. 0/5 it was a pretty bad meal. i ordered the pastrami and it just wasn't like an authentic pastrami. i also ordered a salad thinking it would be a side salad but it could've been a whole meal. there is no information or sauce selections on uber eats so i didn't know i could order any so they included 2 or 3 that weren't good on what was supposed to be a pastrami. but despite the sauces, the meat itself just wasn't consistent with an authentic pastrami.
*i would recommend for the restaurant to list all of their sauce options and bread options for the paninis on uber eats, and also on their physical menu.
the second experience, i had just finished a tour with the marina as the start/end point. i walked over to Benitto's from the tour office. if i had known this was the same place as the uber eats order- i would not have dined here. but i'm glad i didn't know because the meal was wonderful. i ordered the minestrone soup and smoked salmon panini which my tour guide recommended- and it was amazing. i enjoyed adding sauces to the panini: pesto, black olive, mustard, garlic.
third time was uber eats too but i knew to specify in the instructions that i wanted the smoked salmon on toasted ciabatta and i asked for the sauces that i enjoyed. also ordered an iced latte which was good.
fourth time was when i had a couple hours before i needed to be at the airport.. i didn't want to be gross before my flight and this restaurant has A/C and even though it gets a bit warm inside, it's still much cooler than every other restaurant i've been to. ordered the smoked salmon panini and a cappuccino. a very delicious...
Read moreSo , the place is very charming, but that code word for very small and the staff is ok. Our waitress spoke very little English but was very attentive and was ok in her duties. Our food was very tasty and tasted like an authentic Italian dish. Now, this part is why I gave the review I am giving. There was a man sitting 2 tables down , I couldn't tell if he was the owner or a local that you can say is a bar fly. He parked himself like he was at home , talking loud on his phone for the whole world to hear. If this wasn't the worst part he had a dog and it wasn't a service dog because he had no signs saying she was a working dog . Nevertheless, the dog roamed around the restaurant and even went into the kitchen area. No one said nothing to fact the dog went into the kitchen area, the dog had free reign of the restaurant like his owner.. it's like they owned the place with no regard of the patrons that where eating there . The food was priced ok but the dog and his owner just high jacking the place was too...
Read moreI stopped by for a nice coffee on my way to the airport and I left feeling totally ripped off and disappointed. I got a tiny double expresó which they charged me $100 pesos for ($5) Double what I’m used to paying. I ordered a breakfast sandwich for the plane which was a dry bagel with a fried egg on top( I asked for extra cooked and the yolk was runny). Zero flavor!!The bill came to $15 dollars which was more than I had spent my entire trip. The quality and taste totally bland and I ended up throwing the bagel in the garbage. As we say in Mexico” me dolió mucho el codo!”. I regret having gone in and I left PV with a bitter taste in my mouth. I was expecting better quality for that much money. The rest of my experiences In restaurants were fenomenal. You win some and lose...
