Café Chapultepec — Restaurant in Jalisco

I came in by myself and when I sat down I told the waiter that I wanted to keep the menu and order dessert after my dinner. I had dinner and while I was waiting for the waiter to take my dessert order another table came in for just dessert, ice cream and tableside flambe`. The waiter finally came back to my table at 9:15(they close at 10) and told me I couldn't order crepes to take with me back to my room because their kitchen is closed. I could only have cake. The Restaurant is open until 10pm 7 days a week so this was not only untrue, but they were literally making dessert at the table next to me that came in after I did. We held my daughter’s 9th birthday party here, and it was absolutely perfect.

The staff were so friendly, patient and attentive - thank you Fernando and team for the wonderful service!

The food was great with generous portions, drinks were big (it’s 2 for 1 drinks between 4-5pm!), and they helped sing happy birthday and gave us plates and forks for the cake.

The view is spectacular and the pool was so much fun.

I had to plan my daughter’s party after only being in PV for 4 days, and Cafe Chapultepec helped make it a huge success!

Food was pretty good. Service was not. I think this was specific to our server. He was much more interested in chatting with his co-workers than taking care of us. Literally ignored us most of the time when he finally presented the check - which we had asked for at least 10 mins prior - he didn't even bring that until we got up to leave although he had NO other tables and then pointed to the check and said "here is where you add the tip" after the absolute worst service ever.
