A Culinary Oasis in Puerto Vallarta - La Leche Delights!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at La Leche in Puerto Vallarta, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary! Hailing from Canada, we made a reservation for dinner on March 5th, and the entire evening left us eager for a return visit.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in an atmosphere like no other. The ambiance was both chic and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The service at La Leche was outstanding. The staff demonstrated impeccable training and courtesy, making us feel not just welcomed, but truly valued as guests. It's clear that the team at La Leche is dedicated to providing a top-notch dining experience.

One aspect that deserves special mention is the DJ's music selection. Contrary to some negative reviews, we found the music to be tasteful and at a volume that allowed for easy conversation. It added a unique and enjoyable touch to the overall ambiance.

The servers, hostess, and mixologist were a true delight. Their gracefulness and attention to detail enhanced our dining experience. The cocktails were nothing short of spectacular, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. In fact, we even left with take-out containers, a testament to the value you receive for your money.

Addressing some of the criticism regarding language barriers, we must emphasize that La Leche is in Mexico. The servers' English was more than sufficient, and it's essential to appreciate the cultural context. If anyone expects everyone to speak English perfectly, perhaps they should reconsider their travel choices.

In conclusion, La Leche has earned a resounding 5 stars from us, and we will undoubtedly be back each time we visit Puerto Vallarta. The food, ambiance, service, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. To those who may have reservations based on negative reviews, we urge you to experience La Leche for yourself – it's a culinary oasis that deserves every bit of praise. Cheers to the La Leche team for creating such a memorable dining...

This place is unreal. The most delightful dining experience I think I have ever had. 5 stars does not even come close to expressing how amazing this place is.

My fiancée called it "fun dining" because it gives you a combination of a fine dining experience with an extremely fun atmosphere and presentation. Service was beyond exceptional, if I could give them 10 stars I would. Our servers were Rodolfo and Chelsea, they were very attentive but not overbearing. They knew when to come to check on us and when to leave us alone. They waited until we were done with our appetizers to bring us our entrées, and you can tell they were keeping an eye on us to tell the kitchen when to start cooking. The entrées were clearly not sitting under a hot light that whole time but came fresh from the chef as soon as we were ready for them. And besides those two, we were continuously attended to by the entire service staff whenever we needed anything.

We started with the vegetable garden platter and the crab poblano. When we were ordering I thought for sure the crab poblano was going to be the better appetizer. I was totally wrong. While it was delicious, the veggies were absolutely the star of the show. They were all seasoned with an invisible spicy sauce(?) that was amazing. Every bite was just as good as the last, and neither of us could place what spice was used, but it was the perfect strength to give lots of flavor and heat without being overwhelming. Also, be aware that all the dishes on the menu are much larger than you would expect. Two appetizers was probably too much, but I have no regrets.

I had the filet for my entrée, and it was perfectly cooked, with an amazing sear on the outside, and plenty of pink in the middle. Without gushing too much, it's one of the better steaks I've had.

All the drinks we had were delicious, I could write a whole review about each one but this is already long enough.

TL;DR, probably my favorite dining experience ever. If you plan on splurging for a really nice meal, in Puerto Vallarta, you are doing yourself a dis-service if you go...

My sister and boyfriend reserved this restaurant as a surprise dinner for my birthday. Needless to say, I was seriously impressed and very happy with my experience. From the moment we entered, it was exceptional. They have a large machine that you enter to sanitize you from head-to-toe before entering the restaurant as part of their Covid-19 prevention protocols. The restaurant itself is immaculate inside and very unique. You can see from my photos that it is a very interesting choice of decor - not at all what I expected from the exterior but very memorable. Of course, sometimes a restaurant can look amazing from the outside but have mediocre food on the inside. That was NOT the case here. The food definitely exceeded my expectations, and my boyfriend, who is a Mexican Chef, was very impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. I had the beef plate and though I seldom eat beef when I go out to eat, I was very happy with this selection and the beef was not only tender but very tasty. My sister had the Tuetano Mar and loved it. We had a couple bottles of Mexican white wine which were quite reasonably priced and extremely good quality. Actually, everything was very reasonably priced considering how exquisite a restaurant this is. And to top it off, the staff (Carlos, Alexa, and Giovanni) completely surprised me by turning off the lights (I thought it was a power failure) and coming out with a beautiful sparkling birthday dessert. I wish I could upload the video because it was amazing and memorable! Overall, everything about our experience was perfect. The service provided by Giovanni and Carlos was outstanding. Staff all speak English so don't worry if your Spanish is a little rusty. It was above and beyond anything I was expecting for my birthday, and I am so happy that my sister and boyfriend chose this place to spend my special day. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant on your visit to...

My friends and I booked our last evening dinner out on our Puerto Vallarta trip at La Leche. We had heard so many great things about the restaurant we wanted to save the best experience for last. Trendy doesn't even begin to describe La Leche. From the moment you park the car the Leche theme is oozing from all parts of the building. You are greeted with a milky white building with black lettering. The entryway is all white and lined with milk inspired paraphernalia. You can enter a milk chamber temperature check station before being greeted by a an expansive white dining hall lined with white milk cans. A DJ sits atop the dining hall mixing hip music, various milk inspired vogue photos are hung up and classic Laurel and Hardy reels are streamed on the wall. The service here is top notch. We were seated at a long white table by the inside bar. There is an outdoor patio with bar as well. We had at all times at least 2 servers who made sure our water glasses were full, replaced our drinks quickly and made sure we had clean silverware between each serving. The only critical thing I can say about La Leche was the food. The ingredients were fresh and well sourced. Except it was as if they were trying too hard. For example the taco had grilled baby corn and an asparagus with a sauce that hid the wonderful flavor of the meat and taco shell. I understand the theme of Leche was being incorporated in each dish but it seemed forced at times which took away from the superb ingredients of which they were serving. Overall the food was good but not great. Overall the night was excellent and the atmosphere was electric. If you are looking for one of the most trendy Instgram places in Puerto Vallarta make a stop here for sure!
