Champions Sports Bar — Restaurant in Jalisco

I've been going to Champions for 15 years. I'm a year-round resident. I stop by year round, even in the summer. Tonight I stopped by to watch my college team. The staff wouldn't change the channel for me because they were trying to accomodate some of the tourists. After complaining for a while, the only person who went out of their way to help was Raciel. I watched my game but then was told I had to leave because tables were reserved for the Canelo fight. I understood but we agreed I could stay until the party arrived. After we agreed, Erwit the manager came over and kicked us off the table and nobody was waiting for a table. Not even the people who reserved it. Champions needs to take better care of the people who support them in low season. During pandemics and the summer. Rant over. Go somewhere else that deserves your business like Fajita Banana. ...

Not the best place to go to but at least it’s a pls e to check out sports on ESPN. Open from 11am to 2am. We got the quesadilla and margaritas. The quesadillas were full of meat and plentiful but very oily and salty. The drinks were weak and the big screen showing golf was not full screen screen and two panels quit working. Very fuzzy quality. So no too many tables, food not quite up to par and you’d have to order a few drinks to have a good time, if that’s what you’re into. We went to this place at 11pm to avoid the over crowded tequila bar near main lobby. It seemed people forgot about this place being open late so kind of a good find. Maybe you’ll have a better experience so I wouldn’t rule...

The burger is decent, the cheese sticks with marinara was good and the nachos are a little weird with a combo of normal cheese and what can only be described as 7-11 nacho pump cheese. The staff is really friendly but service can be slow. That being said you probably came here for sports so you're not trying to have so.eone bothering you the whole time. There are a ton of screens and one of the larger ones in PV in the middle. There is also the added benefit that there is a lot of parking so if you are driving it helps. Overall the atmosphere is good and the staff is nice. If you happen to be in town for some games come visit...
