Remember the term... you get what you pay for? Well, welcome to American chain hotel restaurants. This place is a Marriot restaurant. So, overpriced to start, but we chose it since we could walk. I regret that now. Next time, I will pick a taxi ride. The server seated us at the entrance, behind his podium despite multiple tables being available. He moved us after asking. Then getting service continued to be a game of cat and mouse. My husband's dinner came out overcooked. Sent it back, returned better cooked but less food. And my dinner came out when he was nearly finished eating. Embarrassing for any high priced restaurant, especially in Puerto Vallarta. We are paying nearly $2000 pesos. Sad. The only saving grace, a gift of dessert for our anniversary. The seafood amazing. The steak, just steak, nothing fancy. It's all in the sauce.

4.25.2023 update....

Well, here's a new one. So most people who travel to Mexico understand you don't drink the water. Nobody intentionally wants to get sick. The waiter of this fine establishment offers us house water or bottle water. Well.... ummm.... read ask the above... this offer sounded like carbonated or not carbonated to my husband and me. He was in a last night here, booze me uo and ship me off. One of us needed to make sure we both got back, so I drank water. I drank water like a damn fish. Glass after glass after glass... you get the point.

1:30am my stomach starts to tighten. By 2:00am I felt I swallowed a full fledged forest fire. By 2:30am I was not sure which body part to use the toilet and which to use the floor.

By 9:00am it has not stopped. Every 20-30 minutes I was doing a live, unedited version of an exorcism. And we had to check out and head to the airport to fly back to Chicago!

Let's say... drink the bottles water even if carbonated. Please. You'll...
