We were in GDL and wanted to have a nice steak dinner. We had a reservation. We were seated right away and our waiter greeted us and explained about the menu and restaurant. He was very good. We ordered a couple drinks. We ordered some guacamole and a melted cheese appetizer. Both were good. I ordered a rib eye steak with the bone. The bone ended up being bone marrow and I thought it was the bone on the steak. Small misunderstanding but OK im game to try something new. The bone marrow was OK but its very fatty and I wont ever order it again. My steak had good flavor but half of it was grizzle and fat. My wife ordered a filet minion and her steak was dry. She ordered it medium rare. To be honest ive had better steaks at Texas roadhouse. Our sides were mashed potatoes, esquite, and asparagus. The mash potatos were really good. The esquite (corn) was under cooked but had good flavor. I didn't try the asperagus. When we were ordering it seemed like the waiter was trying to upsell us on everything implying that the portions weren't big and pushing us to order more. The portions we large. Our bill was around $200 dollars and I dont think it was worth it. Yes the place is very nice inside and the drinks were great. But the food was average at best. When your paying this much for steaks I expect them to be...

My sister and I wanted to experience some fine dining here in Guadalajara, being restaurant owners in Austin, Texas ourselves we were very much excited about this place I would have given it 5 stars but, It was a bit obnoxious to get in at first, we had reserved a table and supposedly our name was not on it, the guard at the door somehow was trying to convince us to leave instead of putting our name on the list, he was not helpful at all and obnoxious and not consoling, my sister went ahead and put us on the list and we were seated immediately, so I don’t know if the man at the door made it up or he’s was just obnoxious. The food was great, now im from Texas so I know good steak and this was some GOOD steak, you could tell how carefully it was made, our server was amazing she was so helpful and would explain the menu and was so patient even though she was busy she was great ! Everyone inside the restaurant was kind. Good experience. My advice would be: get you a better doorman someone with...

I want to be fair and give an honest review. So:

  1. I had a reservation at 10 pm, and they gave me my table until 10;30, which is unacceptable, and for me a huge fault for respect to the customer. Additionally, they give you only 10 minutes for reservation.

  2. Food is ok, but I asked the waiter to be very careful because I like my steak medium - rare, and they after 30 minutes brought medium. Additionally, another dish was also very dry.

  3. Music is a little bit loud, but I prefer places where I can chat without yelling.

  4. The access for handicap could be a challenge because they have this revolving door, and the normal door was closed with lock

I think this place is not worth it at all considering the money that you pay. Definitely, in my case, I will...

From the moment we walked in, we knew this place would exceed our expectations. The service, drinks and food were all just incredible. We started with oysters and esquites. My favorite part of this dish was the oyster sauce. Literally out of this world (& I’m not usually an oyster fan). For our main dishes I ordered the arrachera birria and my husband ordered the tacos richi. Literally amazing flavor, just beware of the sauce in the birria, it was VERY spicy. As for the drinks, I got a mezcal drink and my husband got the Piraña and a watermelon/jamaica tequila drink (I forget the names). Our favorite was the watermelon/jamaica one. We will definitely be back!

Me and my family were in town for a wedding, and looked online for dining near by. Place was featured on a foodies IG so decided to make reservations and try it out. Drinks were amazing! Tried Hawaii & Tiki which was my fave! La Piraña was my second fave! They have plenty of amazing appetizers to choose from. Tried Oysters & Toro, krispy Salmon cakes, Hamachi with truffle and shrimp tacos. Fernanda our server along with Francisco were very attentive and recommended a few different entre plates We went with a Surf & Turn which included a 1 kilo Ribeye and a whole octopus on the grill. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again!
