El Frutero — Restaurant in Jalisco

My wife just had breakfast in this place this morning. She said it was the worst breakfast she has had in many years in Guadalajara. The music was too loud to conduct a breakfast meeting and the young kids working there wouldn't reduce the volume until asked twice. The panela omelette was 120 pesos and was one very over salted egg beaten and fried flat with two tiny pieces of panela folded like a taco served with two of the smallest slices you can imagine, perhaps a fifth part of a birote. A flat white coffee which was maybe 4 fluid ounces and an overpriced but fair serving of green juice. She came home afterwards and ate a proper breakfast, I understand this is hipster country but do you not understand that at breakfast time at 9am people are actually hungry and expect at least some value for the money they spend, one egg and 20 grams of panela is a joke for 120 pesos, lift your...

I'm not going to lie, this was disappointing. Went here for breakfast on a weekday around 10 am. Only one or two other tables were occupied, despite this we waited for a good 10 minutes to get a menu, then another 15 minutes to order than a good half an hour to get our food. The food was passable but by no means excellent. Portions are on the small side, and prices are a little high for what you get. Sure everyone was nice, but no amount of nice can make up for waiting almost an hour to eat some...

GENTRIFICANDO LOS BIONICOS. Fuimos a este lugar y pedimos un "bowl de frutas" que resulto ser un bionico como cualquiera que encuentras en la calle. Cobran 140 pesos por un BIONICO, justificando el precio con que usan "fruta de primera calidad", pero la realidad es que no hay nada especial en los ingredientes. La fruta es fruta en todos lados y en nuestro país tenemos la bendición de que en cualquier lado puedes comprar fruta fresca, por lo que es un argumento rídiculo. Para colmo, el servicio al cliente es pésimo, y responden otras reseñas de forma grosera. Deberian revisar sus precios y de paso su educación y atención al cliente.
