Well where to start... the begining I guess... have stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions with mixed results... the Rooms have been the saving grace. When the hotel first opened I could turn a blind eye to the lack of training... 3 years later not so much... in the past the front desk people were nice but clearly untrained. Not anymore, we booked online and there was a breakfast offer for $1.00... so took that... when got the confirmation the booking price jumped $40.00 per night or in our case $120.00. We got to the hotel explained and showed them the mistake and were told by the hotel basically take it at the higher price or leave... we drove all day on Saturday and figured the Manager would help us on the Monday... They took a room deposit on my AMEX then once we asked about the billing mistake the person in charge told us they wouldn't give us the key unless we paid for all three days at lthe higher price... again we thought the manager will fix this. Now told they don't take AMEX|.. Showed the lady They took AMEX 3 minutes ago... she reluctantly took the card and processed the full payment. ||Bad start but with that behind us we got to our room couple of minor issues in the room we were exhausted physically and emotionally after the check-in.||The next morning on Sunday we figured if there is any chance we are not going to get our $40 bucks a day back we should just go and enjoy the breakfast... asked at the desk if we needed a coupon the same nasty girl at the desk said no. We went and had the breakfast good people serving, average food. Then my wife noticed the posted price was 275 Pesos each for the buffet... far less than the 800.00 Pesos we got charged extra....||Now the fun really starts|... the nasty girl from the desk Fernanda... comes to our table informs us that we are going to have to pay for one of the two breakfasts... mid bite... Rude, Wrong... not very smart, when she knows we paid way too much for the buffet already... so we get extorted another 275.00 Pesos|.. Now I can't wait to meet the manager the next day as Fernanda tells me he or she comes in on Mondays| ||This girl has problems, We approach the young man at the desk Monday morning... start asking him how we can find the Manager... Fernanda jumps in and gleefully tells us their is No Manager... No Manager Really..|Enough is Enough so we demand either our "free Albeit 800 Pesos" breakfasts, or our $40.00 per night off for the Monday and Tuesday... she would do nothing... we went to our room packed up and left after giving them the opportunity to give our last night refund where she gleefully told us that wouldn't happen even though the website said free cancelation until 4 pm|...||As of today if you go on the site we used it still shows a $1.00 breakfast and still adds $40 bucks to the bill...||Do yourself a favor, as I will, Stay Elsewhere. Maybe some place...
Read moreThe front desk staff and Carlos were amazing... so my service rating is based on restaurants failures. Gave them a second chance at coffee the next morning.... blew up our coffee order as well... good news McDonald's 10 steps away for good coffee and service. Starbucks 1 block away... so location makes up for bad restaurant service.... would stay again no question... one other issue is the automation lighting bothers some but we were ok with lights coming on when using bathrooms at night.

Not sure what happened... but this hotel has gone to hell... most rude people have been hired... not sure why Fernanda has a job she is beyond rude. The other staff told us she love being rude to Canadians/Americans.
So we booked at one price and added breakfast for their 1 dollar promotion for breakfast. At yhe hotel they charged an extra 50 dollars per night After paying the extra money the girl Fernanda comes up to our table while eating the next day and tells us the breakfast was only for one of us... double the posted price.
Anyway very sad, was a great experience with front of house staff in the past.
Management needs to deal with the Bad players in this hotel. . Extorted 200 dollars by this gal if wanted our room that night... after 10 hours of driving we paid and said we would talk to manager Monday. Monday rolls around and no Manager.. staff don't know the managers name... dont know his phone number etc.
Regardless, we tried everything to not have a problem here but there was no answers from staff. Other than Fernanda happy to be Rude The shinning star was Carlos at the front desk.
Anyway... easier to stay elsewhere...

Thank God I used Amex and they will find the imaginary Manager ... think it would have been fine if we could have talked to any manager.

Read moreRoom is decent, i must say. Staff, especially the cleaning staff wonderful. My issue with this place is that they lack customer service in the restaurant department. I just had surgery a few days ago, so there's but so much I can do. I ordered a burger, and it made me sick to my stomach. Threw up for a while, and the restaurant closed at 10 pm, so there was no way to contact anyone. I called in the am to explain what had transpired & told the person who I spoke to which was a guy that I DID NOT want a refund, ask If I could be compensated with something else to eat since I still had the burger, even took a picture of it to have it as evidence to show I only took a bite. I waited in my room for a call, which I did, but I was told someone else would give me another call. I waited until i eventually went downstairs to speak with someone. I was informed that if I still had the burger they would take it and inspect it, then went on to tell me that they prepare good food etc. Said absolutely nothing about how it made my stomach upset or throwing up. Was told afterwards that even if I still had the burger there was nothing they could do for me. If someone spent hard earn money to buy food and it made them sick to their stomach, if they aren't asking for a refund but only to be compensated with something else to eat it shouldn't be that hard to accommodate. I spend money buying breakfast and dinner everyday because it's not an all inclusive hotel which is fine. I had an issue one day and they found it hard to accommodate me with something else to eat is crazy too me. That burger was NOT fresh by the smell of it, yall need to learn...
