Hard one to review since some parts of my dinner were perfect but this place is not cheap and so they should be able to do better. Ordered the falafel bowl and my friend the chicken bowl. On both our bowls everything except the main protein was great: the salad, the roast beets, the tzatziki and quinoa were all super tasty. But his chicken was not hot and my falafel was rock hard, clearly it had been made much earlier and then reheated. This is not a counter service falafel take out, the falafel should be fried to order not premade. Our drinks were fine but nothing exceptional (the lemonade and sesame horchata). Atmosphere was fine but the restaurant is in a strip mall type of setup with pull in parking right in front and cars kept coming and going into the parking spot and shining headlights directly into my eyes. Not the restaurant's fault but maybe they could put some plants or something out front so we're not looking at parked cars...
Read moreA decent gyro, average pricing, and good service. After hearing many rave reviews about this place, I decided to give it a try. I was told to sit anywhere and given a QR code to scan for the menu. I ordered a traditional gyro with a side salad, though it took a little while for my order to be taken. The food also took some time to arrive, despite the restaurant not being busy at the time.
The presentation of the food was lovely, but the first few bites were nothing special. The tzatziki sauce was a bit underwhelming, but overall, it was a decent gyro. The salad was average and not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Prices were reasonable, and my server did check in to make sure I was doing well. However, I left a bit disappointed as the experience didn’t quite live up...
Read moreOverpriced place. Even the food was right, yes, just right the food was quite small portions. I am not sure if you have not a very good idea how to fulfill a pita bread with food inside or just decided to give on the end as of those gyros a massive amount of pita bread without a proper or even practical reason. Put food on those parts not more pita bread. I can understand that you think that a gyro is some kind of exotic food, but is just street food. If you are charging for a gyro more than the average price in Athens, then I hope you will give me something big. I get it that the average tapatío is not the best person to be critical with food from overseas. Never...
