The restaurant looks beautiful and there are cosy seats at a nicely lit table, lovely environment and the service is great. I love Italian food, it’s my favourite and I ordered a lasagne.
I went to the restaurant on the evening of Friday 27th Jan 2023.
My lasagne appeared at the table within 5 minutes, which was concerning, the lasagne itself was dry and hard but, being British, we are not known for complaining so I just wanted to finish my meal and get out of there.
Now this is the first ever bad review I have ever written and the reason im now complaining is that following the meal iv had very bad diarrhoea which massively disrupted my sleep and im still suffering today. Could it have been other food ? No, I didn’t have lunch and we went to the restaurant in the evening, four hours later after eating the problems started.
If my lasagne was at least tasty then I would not be complaining , but terrible lasagne followed by intense diarrhoea, well…..I have to say something.

Read moreJust beware of this restaurant. The establishment still pulls the two menu switch a roo. My wife and I went to dinner twice at this location. Our first meal was great. We had a different waiter second time, and we shared a meditarranean casserole(320 peso on English menu) with shrimp and octupus, as well as a four chess pasta (199 pesos) + we had a bottle of house water which we thought was free. The food was good, and staff was good. But the bill came to 765 pesos 420 pesos for casserole, 250 for pasta and 95 pesos for water. I asked for an explanationa and a mexican menu was brought to me with those prices. I showed them the english menu on my phone and they still charge me 615 pesos. La Moresca has 4 branches in Guada,...

The accompanying red sauce was also very tasty. I had the puttanesca for my main course. It was flavourful but unfortunately a bit tepid. It could have been hotter - maybe it was sitting on the side for a while before it got to me. Also the pasta was not like traditional Italian spagghetti - it was more like vermicelli and a lot thinner. It would have been nice to be offered parmesan on to but maybe that's an British/ Italian thing.
Prices are reasonable for such a swanky...
