I'm reminded of a song... "I've been a lot of places, seen a lot of faces, hell I even (ate)...." you know the rest. This place was truly a gem. One of the better restaurants I've seen with cohesion in their aesthetics, food, and drink. Someone had a vision of what they wanted and went in 100%. Right down to the hand soap in the bathroom (I def noticed and tried to bring some back with me but couldn't find a shop in time).
The food is definitely adventurous in it's use of ingredients and representation of Mexican cuisine and it was a very refreshing and wonderful surprise. I do feel like some of their dishes need a tiny bit of explanation especially for those unfamiliar exploratory palettes. We had several appetizers and two main courses. All delicious and eclectic in their own ways.
Honestly, this place is such a welcome find in a sea of restaurants that are confused in their identity/execution. I bookmarked it as a place to bring my husband next time and have him try some new things that may not be common in other restaurants we've been to while in Guadalajara.
