Chandan spa — Local services in Jalisco

I visit Chandan every week unless I’m out of town. The massages that I’ve received here have been extremely therapeutic and relaxing. I have received a variety of services including cupping, electro stimulation, hot stones, facials, gelish nails, and couples massages. My weekly trips are always 90 - 100 minutes and definitely my “me time”.

I can definitely agree with the reviews on the skill set of the therapists. They are super body needs and they check in often to make sure you are comfortable. I got hooked on the first therapist I worked with and I only work with her. That being said, I’m confident everyone is great. My husband has had a massage with another therapist and I’ve also visited with a girlfriend before and she was impressed with her experience.

I’ve had massages all over the world. When I’m traveling I continue to receive a massage at least one time a week, but they are never as great at getting my pain spots as they are at Chandan. I’ve visited two other spas in Guadalajara with extras included such as hot tubs, wine, and saunas, but the actual massage just wasn’t up to my standards. If you are looking for the massage experience, this is the place.

The prices are reasonable for the excellent services. The employees are professional. The rooms are quiet and tranquil. The music is perfect and the use of holistic practices such as aromatherapy and Tibetan Singing Bowls to start the treatment really enhance the experience.

This will be my forever...

This was quite possibly one of the best massages I have ever had....and I have had a LOT of massages. I just wish I got the therapists name so I can request again. The building of the spa is extremely tranquil and you go through a private gate to enter the hacienda so it feels nice and exclusive/private. The room I had the massage in had really nice energy and I appreciated the tingshaw to start and end the session as a sound therapist. I was also appreciative of the crystals. The therapist was extremely talented, she had magic hands and spent a lot of time on my shoulders which was exactly what I needed. She found the knots immediately and even incoporated heat from the hotstones to help loosen me up. I left feeling so dazed and blissed out, thank gosh my hostel was not far away because I collapsed for an hour just to let the goodness soak in! If ever I am back in Guadalajara I will be back and recommending this spa to all my people. I hope to have the same therapist :-)

Amazing massage in an...

I told the massage therapist what I wanted. She then commented on how that was the most high-pressure massage they had and I agreed to it since that is what I was looking for. She even asked me what area she should focus on, and I told her my neck and my feet. She barely touched them.

It started off with high-pressure, but then it shortyly declined to very low pressure. Additionally, she kept taking breaks where I had no idea what she was doing. about 15 minutes of the massage was all break. she even ended five minutes early. Additionally I thought she was just grabbing oil or lotion when I noticed the stalling, but when I open my eyes and checked where everything was located, that was clearly not the case. She was just killing time and I don’t feel like she did a good job. I have gotten plenty of other massages and this was the worst.
