Natureza Marina — Restaurant in Jalisco

LUNCH TOOK OVER TWO HOURS. The service was the worst I have seen in a restaurant, maybe in my entire life. Everything took way too long. It was an hour before we even got our food order placed. The server added an extra entree that nobody ordered and brought no spoons for our soups. I flagged the server and politely said we need a spoon for our soup. He said okay, and then I watched him walk to the opposite side of the restaurant on the patio and place an order at an 8 person table. Which takes this server half an hour to complete. Of course our soup could not last that long without a spoon, so I went to the area where they had cutlery and got a spoon myself. Then at the end, they tried to charge us for the item that they brought that we never ordered. We just wanted a simple sit down lunch and go. And from the get go, the service all across the board was absolutely horrendous. from the very beginning. It started with the minute we got there. The host invited us and our two dogs into the restaurant. We expected to have to be seated in the patio as usual, but the host said "come on ahead and go inside." We then got attitude from the manager about bringing dogs inside, which is ridiculous, because we got ushered in by the host. Natureza Cafe in Marina, Puerto Vallarta aka ‘Natureza Marina’ became my favorite coffee shop, while my boyfriend & yourstruly visiting & staying at the Marina PV, Mexico from Feb 7th till March 17th 2023, the espresso americano regular or decaffeinated were both good with reasonable price, for sure cheaper than SB cost 40pesos for small size 12oz & 45pesos only for grande size 20oz and the owner used organic coffee beans plus it has variety of healthy choices on their menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have sweet tooth, the crepes are so good. The Panini Sandwiches are so delicious we tried different types from tuna, veges, & meat. If you are in and around Marina Puerto Vallarta, Mexico try this place, highly recommended. Also, this place has the best washroom/toilet among the many restaurants in the Marina. The place itself is nice, clean and marina front view. Lastly, the staff are so friendly and able to communicate both Spanish & English.

Horrible experiencia, no es la primera vez que como en este lugar, pero si será la ultima. En primera duraron mucho para asignarnos mesa, siendo que había 2 ya desocupadas, tuve que decirle a la hostess un par de veces para que nos pasarán.

El mesero que me atendió se nota que no sabe nada de servicio al cliente, no pude ver su nombre, pero es el único que tiene el cabello teñido rojizo. Paso una y otra vez al lado de nosotras y no nos tomaba la orden, hasta que le dije a un compañero suyo y fue entonces que se acercó. Pedimos las bebidas y comida, y más bien pregunté yo cuanto se tardaría en llegar la comida y el comento que de 30 a 45 minutos, a lo cual accedí pues habían tenido mucha gente.

Yo pedí unos chilaquiles con una porción de papas aioli, mi acompañante un omelette, el cual llevaba una porción de chilaquiles y frijoles, todo esto fue rectificado por el mesero, después del tiempo de espera, llegaron los platillos, los trajo otro mesero, mis chilaquiles sin las papas aioli que pedí, y el omelette sin frijoles "ya se acabaron" fue lo que nos dijo el mesero, sin ofrecer alguna otra opción de acompañamiento, no teníamos cubiertos ni salsas, le pedí a el que nos los trajera y nunca los trajo, se lo pedí a nuestro mesero original y tampoco, es más paso de largo y mejor se fue a cobrar una cuenta en la mesa de al lado, "ahorita se los traen" me dijo, por último se los pedimos al ayudante de mesero y me hizo una seña de que me esperara y mejor le llevo los cubiertos que traía en la mano a otra mesa.

Mejor un comensal de otra mesa se levantó y me ofrecio sus cubiertos, las salsas nunca llegaron y nuestra comida había llegado helada, para esto les comento que el restaurante ya no estaba lleno.

Fui a hablar con la encargada y nada más me pidió disculpas y que habían tenido mucha gente, obvio no comimos eso, estaba heladisimo, pague las bebidas y me fui.

Muy mala experiencia, deberían capacitar a su equipo en como es el servicio al cliente porque dejan mucho que desear, y no soy la única que se estaba quejando, comensales de otras mesas mejor se paraban a pedir la cuenta, bebidas, comida porque los meseros ni en cuenta..
