About three years ago I had one of the most traumatic food experiences ever here. With a sever gluten and dairy allergy, I was sooooo excited to find this place. I bought a bunch of products togo and made sure to ask what flours were used so that I could be extra sure that it was gluten free, because honestly it all looked too good to be true. It was.

Later that evening I split one of the donuts I bought with my friend. I woke up in the middle of the night with my typical 'food-posioning' like symptoms I get from gluten, in horrible pain and nauseous. It kept me up all night and the worst part was, was that I had to get on a plan the next morning to fly back home. I kept all the baked goods with me, just incase it was something else I ate that made me so sick, even though I had eaten all the same things as my best friend that day and she was fine. When I got home I used my Nima Gluten Tester to test all the baked goods I'd brought back with me multiple times and they all came back positive for gluten. (for those that don't know, Nima is a gluten tester that detects more than 20ppm of gluten in any given food that you put into it, quite the handy gadget if you are extra sensitive).

This is an amazing bakery!! All the products are gluten free, milk free, and sugar free. Many of products are also egg free. Despite not containing any of these ingredients, the pastries and baked goods are delicious!! The pan dulce is moist (not dry and crumbly like many gluten free products) and has a rich flavor. Prices at this bakery are reasonable for gluten free options, although substantially more expensive than non gluten free counterparts. This is one of the best gluten free bakeries I have...

Absolutely the very best. Better products than I can find in Montreal. Will be back on my next trip

Well, thanks to covid, next trip is 2 years later. The bread is unevenly sliced and the texture is not the same. Bought a 45 peso cookie that was moulded. Not spending 90 pesos in a didi to take it back. Very disappointed.
