I just returned from my first meal and I can tell you I will be back! They treat you like family. The pasta is all freshly made. I started with Insalata Isola (tomato, mozzarella and basil. They provide extra oil and balsamic vinegar to dress it along with fresh ground pepper. So fresh and so delicious. I then had Al Gamberetti. You get to choose what pasta you want it to be served with so I chose tortellini which is filled with spinach and ricotta. The shrimp were plentiful and the tomatoes and garlic white wine sauce was so tasty. I was completely stuffed and couldn't finish the whole dish, or else I would have tried the Tiramasu for dessert. An Italian trattoria gem in Puerto Vallarta! All the pasta is made in-house. From tagliatelle to squid ink pasta, to ravioli and rigatoni. You won’t go hungry here. All of the plates were generous portions. Very reasonable. We shared the cesar salad. Full romaine lettuce leaves and croutons. Home made dressing. Refreshing appetizer. My husband had the frutti di mare (seafood) with his choice of pasta. Linguine was an obvious choice. Delicious! I had the linguine vognole. Fresh clams in their shells. The sauce was light, tangy and delightful. Order this with the house made squid ink pasta to complement the fresh clams in their shells.
