May 3, 2024 We went to dinner at this seemingly lovely establishment. The service was lovely and they were quite accommodating, as some of our party brought outside food and they kindly allowed us to eat their food alongside what we ordered. The food was exceptionally tasty, they were extremely attentive, and the atmosphere was family friendly.
I paid the reasonable $677 (pesos) fee with my bank card. Staff notified me that my card was rejected. He stated it was probably due to my failure to report travel status to my bank, which was incorrect as I'd not only informed my bank of my travel plans but had already used my card multiple times prior to this transaction. We nevertheless paid the charge with another card, as we felt safe in understanding it was a simple mistake of a double charge.
Upon showing staff that the charge had gone through and was pending, I kindly asked for a credit the following day so as to avoid calling the bank and consequently resulting in the cancellation of my bank card. They agreed and we made plans to return the following morning.
I returned this morning and was informed last night's charge was cancelled. I phoned my bank and spoke to a representative who confirmed the charge and did not have a request to cancel by the vendor. Additionally, my banking app showed a successful charge.
They undoubtably provide a great dining and overall pleasant experience. My advice, use cash and DO NOT USE PLASTIC as you run the risk of fraudulent charges that will result in your having to cancel your card, rendering you cardless and...
Read morebeautiful garden and friendly staff - BUT - please dont offer sushi, since you cant. we were waiting for it for over two hours - with the hope at some point the restaurant might have ordered it from Tokyo directly.. Drinking margaritas meanwhile (no nibblings offered), with the excuse from the stuff that the rice did not went well .. actually a honourable statement from a sushi master who would respect her/himself.. but what arrived in the end was nothing even close to sushi.. i can roll with my feet a better one, besides that there was no wasabi, no ginger and the rice was a thin layer of porridge, just held by the seaweed, nearly falling apart.. pictures attached. Bill over 700 Pesos for an amount which could not even satisfy a skinny 50 kg creature like me.. one star for the satiric fun factor.. pictures attached. Is just about the sushi - maybe other food they offer is great and, as already mentioned - staff was nice, friendly and the garden beautiful. just cut sushi off the menu ;) for the reputation and the hungry...
Read moreThe atmosphere is great! Lovely garden, tables spaced far apart, and no one was playing on the trampoline. Serene, relaxing, and beautiful.
My friend (Mexican) and I (from the US, but live here) had planned on ordering pizza, but it was a little before 1330 and the pizza oven is apparently not fired up and hot until 1430. We laughed that we should know better--that it was still breakfast time.
Although the restaurant was still offering the breakfast menu, they were very accommodating and made us some delicious enchiladas suizas, pasta alfredo with shrimp, and a salad with arrachera on top. The margarita and sangria were both ample and tasty.
We enjoyed it all and will definitely be back later in the day to try out the pizza and the sushi.
Don't forget. The pizza oven isn't up to...
