TERRIBLE SERVICE! We are visiting Puerto Vallarta and we like to eat where the locals eat when we travel so we always ask locals where to go. We wanted tacos and were told by 2 locals to come here. BIG mistake! As soon as we walked in I was greeted by a raccoon roaming the restaurant. I was with my family that included 2 kids and we all freaked out! There were a lot of people so we decided to stay. Menu is limited they pretty much just sell tacos which was perfect because that’s what we wanted. We ordered immediately and waited 1 hour & 10 minutes and our food never arrived. We asked a few times how long and the servers were rude and acted as if we were offending them by asking how much longer. In the meanwhile the raccoons were getting very aggressive and even jumped on a table and ate someone’s tacos! There were 4 raccoons total roaming the restaurant and hanging from the roof ready to jump and attack! Between the stress of the raccoons and our food never arriving we left. Unless you have hours to waste I would not recommend this...
Read moreThis place sucks - the raccoons climb up and steal food off your plate/try to climb you, and if they do steal food from you, you’re still expected to pay for it?! I can understand if you’re like trying to feed them and things happen, but we were sitting at the bar and trying to just eat. Plus the tacos aren’t very good. Asada was fatty and chewy, Chorizo was bland, they don’t have Pastor… the raccoons are cute enough at first, but the only way to get them to leave you alone is give them a smack or have the boss lady whack her stick on the ground. Raccoons in the back room, raccoons in the kitchen, I honestly don’t know why I ate here at all. Don’t go unless you just want to pay to...
Read moreThis place is so fun! Here's the tech: Always put your dish in front of you more spaced than you normally would (if you leave it sideways or near the edge the racoons will steal it!), leave small pieces of meat near the edge of the table to watch them grab it, and if lots of them start grouping around you just do a loud double clap and they will scatter so you can return to feed them one by one! Also remember, don't leave keys, phones or any important stuff near the edge of the table. If you start getting scared of them you can always sit at the bar, it's more difficult for them to get up there. Also, as a big plus, the food is...
