A group of 7 of us were sitting in this airport restaurant FRIED post bachelor trip, feeling all the sins of the weekend and absorption of the radiation from the Puerto Vallarta sun.

While waiting to catch our separate flights to separate home bases scattered across the US, I couldn't imagine a better place than Urban Corner for our last supper... Well, I could, but you know what I mean.

They have everything from Chilaquiles to English Breakfast to Chicken Wings to Pasta to Ribeye.... you want it, Urban Corner GOT IT.

I opted to go with a Urban Club Sandwich ($15.75 usd), because it seemed pretty safe and I just needed a simple meal to get back to homeostasis. All those Mezcalitas from the weekend were starting to take their toll.

The sandwich was honestly pretty decent. The poster child for a 7/10 which is way better than I was expecting in the airport. It came with waffle fries, which if they were hot instead of lukewarm, would have been a 8.5/10. Instead they kind of fell to a 6 but whatever.

I made the huge mistake of not taking a picture of my sandwich for y'all to see, that's on me. I take full responsibility and am not going to make any excuses, but if I were to make one and point a finger, the Mezcalitas are looking reeeeaaaallll guilty...

We’ve eaten here a few times now and it’s been terrible every time. Unfortunately it’s the only sit-in restaurant open early in the morning, so we ended up going there again today, but we’ll officially never go back again! The food is absolutely terrible, and the service is horrible. This time around I ordered the English breakfast and the “sausage” was literally half a hotdog. The bacon was half undercooked and half burnt (not quite sure how they managed to pull that one off), while the small piece of toast, 2 eggs, and single hashbrown, were all cold. My husband’s ham and cheese croissant was tasteless. Our server was friendly enough, but not attentive at all. The menu items are super overpriced for what you get, which can be expected at an airport, but the meal was awful on top of that, which makes it a hard pass. I’d rather eat out of a vending machine. We also asked three different people to turn down the horrible blaring music and they all said they would, but none of them ever did. A word to the wise, go to...

Went here with my boyfriend on our way home to Canada, we had not even gotten a chance to sit down when the server asked us our order, I told him we’d need a minute and he proceeded to give us 15 minutes and ignored us. We saw him watching the soccer game and not greeting any of his new tables. There were 2 other couples who came directly after us, when he finally came to our table we were greeted with rudeness and no apologies. The couple who came after us got apologized to and got prompt service even though we had waited longer. We had to ask the food runner for napkins, cutlery and condiments. We did not see our server again until we got the bill. He took my card and charged it without a tip promt, I looked at the bill and he tipped himself %20 on my card without asking. I let the manager know and all he had to say was “thank you for letting us know”. My boyfriend and I are both servers are were appalled by this blatant theft. Not only will you get the worst service but they’ll steal your...

Terrible way to end our trip in PV. Stopped in for lunch and had two mediocre sandwiches (BBQ chicken with fries). With a price of $586 pesos for 2 sandwiches and $260 pesos for 2 WATERS (obviously our server didn’t mention that water is just as expensive as cocktails) you would expect the quality of food and service to be a lot better. When we pulled out cash to tip ($70 pesos because we didn’t expect water to be $260 pesos) our server asked us to tip MORE! Maybe if you want your servers paid well you should lower the cost of simple things like WATER!!! Two waters were the same price as ONE sandwich. Way better off going to subway where the servings are larger, the price is better, and it’s 5 feet away. Such a disappointing experience

One of my few negative surprises in Mexico for years. 150 pesos (more than 7euro ?!) for a local Mexican beer. 309 pesos (15 euro?!) for 6 chicken wings … I would expect them then at least to be tasty but they were dry as paper. I would say i felt ripped off. Do something about your price - quality because thats just unacceptable amd even outrages. In Europe we would even call it fraud. I’m not a fan of big American chains but in this case I would say you are better of in one of the fast food chains in the airport. My total bill was 85 euro (+1700peso for a few beers and some snacks which is insane) 2 stars because the server was nice else it would have been 1 star.
