We had lunch here today. Wow!!! We were immediately greeted and welcomed. Warm hospitality! We got the signature dish of Torta ahoganda carnitas and a pork carnitas tostada. I can't even say how amazing that sauce they use is. It's exceptional. They were both amazing. The pork was super tender. And the prices are incredibly reasonable.We were blown away by this place. This is a MUST VISIT for PV.

This is hidden gem. Sadly, I found it today when Im just leaving the city but I really recommend it to anyone who visit Puerto Vallarta. I had tacos dorados for breakfast and they were delicious! I will definitely be back.

This is hidden gem. Sadly, I found it today when Im just leaving the city but I really recommend it to anyone who visit Puerto Vallarta. I had tacos dorados for breakfast and they were delicious! I will definitely be back.

Excellent casual Versalles neighborhood spot serving delicious tortas ahogadas and tacos with many choices of fillings. Super friendly service too. So glad we stumbled upon and decided to try Danny's! Tortas ahogadas are sandwiches made with birote bread (similar to baguettes) soaked or "drowned" in a fabulous thick soupy sauce. We had one tortas filled with pork and another with shrimp; both were hearty and delicious. Danny's is on a quiet side street just a few blocks in from busy Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio. Excellent Tortas Ahogadas (drowned sandwich), a delicious speciality from Jalisco. Birote (type of bread) shipped fresh from Guadalajara, with carnitas (pork meat), condiments and a tomato sauce. They also have various tacos and desserts. Don't miss this authentic dish from Jalisco! Well...
