First of all and to clarify, there are 2 businesses with just another building in between, one is this and the other is called Tortas ahogadas Enrique. Apparently they are 2 brothers who didn't get well after their father's passed away so they made identical businesses. I ordered the carnitas one and it was quite tasty, around 35 pesos. Service is nice and fast.

Muy buenas las tortas ahogadas,el birote en su punto, recién elaborado. Las carnitas muy sabrosas y lo que ahi le llaman chicharrón son una combinación de carnitas de panza y cachete y chicharrón muy bueno. Los q desmerecen son los tacos ; muy insípidos, se supone q sus ingredientes son papá y Frijol y digo se supone por en realidad tienen muy poco de ellos. Venden el chile con q se aderezan las tortas envasado listo para degustar en casa. Actualización hoy Octubre 2022 mejoraron los tacos dorados ya tienen un poco más de frijoles.

Por lo que les puedo decir que son las mejores desde el birote delicioso, las carnitas uff y el chicharroncito delicioso, la salsa con un sabor único y los tacos dorados igual. Tienen una excelente atención y ambiente.

Delicious tortas ahogadas (drowned sandwiches). We had carnitas to take away and they gave us our 2 sandwiches, a generous bag of sauce for drowning, a smaller bag of chilli sauce plus onions and limon. Absolutely delicious and crazy...
