Limited wine selection by the glass, even though it’s a wine bar, but great music selection. Turbio has been at the top of my “must-visit” list in Colonia Americana. As a solo diner, I was only offered a seat at the bar. It took a while to be acknowledged and handed a menu. This “wine bar” felt more like a regular bar with some exceptions—they had a fridge with wines, but most were sold by the bottle. The menu didn’t have an explicit wine list, and choices were only available by inquiring with the server, which felt odd.
When I asked for a “not too dry” wine, they only had two options: a white and a rosé that had a peculiar color, mostly because they were natural wines. I asked for a taste, and the server seemed unprepared for the request. I opted for the rosé, which was decent but nothing memorable. The music at the bar wasn’t too loud initially, but at one point, the volume got a bit overwhelming, reinforcing the feeling that this wasn’t a full-on wine bar. That said, the music selection was great and added to the overall atmosphere.
Service started off average but improved towards the end of my visit. Prices for wine by the glass were around $200, which was fine, but the limited selection was disappointing, especially since I was in the mood for wine. While there were cocktails on the menu, they weren’t to my liking, further diminishing the experience of what I had hoped would be a...

The DJ was on fire and the place was packed. It’s small but I rarely have a hard time finding an open seat when Im solo and that was the case gere. I sat at the bar ordered the “Its Hot” drink. 10/10. The bar tender Regina was friendly and had a recommendation for a tequila negroni next that was the best drink Ive had in the city. It’s next to two Top 50 restaurants and I went to both and this place...
