La Kombuchería — Restaurant in Mérida

The reason for my low rating is that if you are a gringo don't both going. This is an active place with lively music and dancing. But I noticed that all the tourists got seats in the outer rooms with reduced service. Perhaps it was our waiter. The locals in the main room had snacks flowing at double the rate we had. We ordered a pork sandwich ( torta) that took forever. I flagged down our waiter and complained about the delivery of the sandwich. It appeared in about 30 seconds. Hmmm, he likely forgot our order. Pues se trata de un restaurante que está dentro de un hotel (K&N),o algo así; el chiste es que no es fácilmente visible y tardarás un buen rato en identificarlo. Además, las puertas están cerradas; hay que timbrar para que abran.

El interior es agradable, hay una biblioteca y alcanzas a ver algunas habitaciones, y el interior, del hotel. Hay algunos juegos de mesa a disponibilidad.

OJO: El menú despierta grandes expectativas; sin embargo, los platillos no son excelentes ni excepcionales. Nosotros pedimos la hamburguesa: rica! Y un pita tostado: ¡Una decepción!

Lo que sí es recomendable es el ceviche de coco (entrada).

Pedimos platos para compartir la entrada y solo traen uno ( siendo dos personas).

Más tarde: Al momento de pedir la cuenta viene un chico y nos dice cuánto es sin darnos, como es normal y debido, una nota/ticket de consumo. De mala gana va a hacer la nota, la trae, me cobra, pago. Mi error fue el de hacer las cuentas/verificar después de haber pagado. ¡ Pues me habia cobrado de más!!!!

Así es que pedimos la devolución y salimos de ahí.

Es obligación de todo establecimiento comercial (restaurante/hotel) dar nota de consumo; nuestra responsabilidad la de, siempre, ¡¡verificar la cuenta!!

Ah, por último: el agua del día: muy cara para el 'vasito'...
