What a HORRIBLE experience!!! First we ordered chicken fingers that were tasty but came cold, then the burger of my husband that was average minus also came cold, but we came so so hungry that we didn't want to say anything, plus no one asked , then my grilled salmon came, very hot but so so bad! It looked completely white not pink like salmon should not even on the inside, it tasted like rubber with no seasoning, I asked for two side dishes, one was vegetables of the chef, those were completely tasteless broccoli pieces, with no other vegetables, no seasoning lacking even salt, just boiled in water, and the other side dish was mashed potatoes that was normal.

The menu said that I can choose the cooking level of the salmon but when I asked , the waitress told me that I can't really choose it because it comes well done always so there will be no upset stomachs, when I got my dish I understood why, because they use horrible quality of fish, no color and no taste other than rubber!

Our waitress seemed kind of angry from the get go, luckily there was another waiter that was more attentive , he noticed us and brought us forks when he saw that she brought us the food but without any utensils.

La pieza de pescado estaba jugosa y tierna, con una costra crujiente y un sabor perfectamente equilibrado entre lo ahumado y lo fresco. La cocción estaba al punto, dejando el interior suave y lleno de sabor. Acompañado de una guarnición de vegetales frescos y una salsa cítrica que realzaba el sabor del salmón, fue, sin duda, un platillo memorable.

I've been to both locations in Mérida and while the service was poor at the other restaurant, the staff here are friendly, attentive, and engaged. Unfortunately, I don't come to a restaurant solely for the staff, otherwise this would have been a great experience. I've dined here 3 times, each time hoping for good food but I've eaten at Friday's for the last time. In the past visits, I've ordered cheese sticks and the broccoli cheddar soup both of which were passable and unexciting. Today I ordered the champinoñes Friday's and not only were they not fresh as the menu indicated, there was no flavour whatsoever. I ate approximately 1/4 of them and then set the dish aside for it to be cleared. The waitress noticed and asked if there was an issue and I told her my opinion which my dining partner was in agreement with. I saw her speak with the supervisor about the mostly full plate of mushrooms but when the bill came, I was charged for them and no discount was ever offered even though the supervisor asked us if the meal was OK and he was advised that it was not. Just like in baseball, three strikes and you're out so I will never return to Friday's nor would I recommend anyone else...
