My husband and I didn't like this place. The food is very expensive and not really good. My plate was burning but my food was not hot, I took a pulpo al ajo, it was not well cooked, I was expecting a crispy garlic but it was just not tasty and all soft mixed in too much oil. The overall was accompagnated by a small slice of banana floting in oil, same for the rice (plenty of oil) nothing was refined. There was also a bit of veggies, nothing exceptionnal. My husband took a fish a la plancha and got the exact same rice, one slice banana and veggies. Each plate cost approximatly 200 pesos (10€). We hate much better in other places in Merida for 130 pesos, even 90 ! They put everything in looks but not in the quality of the food. The waiters are always around you never letting you tranquille, passing in front of you doing nothing 15 times the time you eat your small plate. Well, we were very disappointed. Bad food in a sort of luxiourius place with badly...

Was surprised to see the bill but cant complain because it was good... but there is likely better places to go for atmosphere and price.

Puerto Vallarta has some great seafood places with comparable food. It would have been half the price but it was lined up out the door and...
Read moreWe enjoyed dinner here yesterday. The meal was exceptional. The three of us shared a Sir Francis Drake seafood salad. Huge serving of prawns, squid, cctopus with tomaties and onions topped with a vinegrete dressing. Best we ever had. We each ordered an entre. All three were very tasty and well prepared and presented. All were exceptional value. The orange juice and deserts were way overpriced. The only downside was the acoustics were non existant. The crowd , probably from the congress building across the street, were into tequilas and louder after each shot. But we will...
