We love it here. We have been coming to Los Plato’s Rotos every year we returned to Merida since they opened years ago. The owners are there and are working with the staff every day. The food is always consistently good and the service is efficient. You won’t find the same regional food here but will find food that is commonly found in other parts of Mexico. The portions are always good as well as the value. This has been our 1st return to Merida post pandemic. Like everywhere, prices everywhere for everything have sky-rocketed. Read moreLos Platos Rotos was very good. The simple selection of meals to choose from is easy to read. The locals were really sweet and recommended their favorites to me and my husband. The Aguas Frescas were refreshing. The waitress was super polite and held great conversation about the local area. It gives neighbor eatery vibes. The best part about Los Platos Rotos was its an open air(outdoor dining) restaurant. There is a limited indoor space but if you can sit toward the outer tables then your experience would be better. Ive been in search of something familiar to me... and all what I saw around was tacos, tortas, gorditas, in general meat, a lot of meat. And as a result I didnt like Platos Rotos. As time has passed, some habits have changed, I find Platos Rotos one of my favorite places to eat tasty, cheap, with every day changed menu.
