Casa Ó — Restaurant in Mexico City

I've been here a few times for breakfast and and always leave happy. The patio is a beautiful little refuge surrounded by plants and trees. The food is tasty and coffee very good! The seating is comfortable and service attentive when it's not too busy. I have only come once for lunch/dinner and felt it was equally tasty. My only suggestion would be to prohibit smoking from the outdoor patio. It's not open enough to ventilate the nasty smell of smoke. So that sucks for people like me who are sensitive to it. Otherwise, a good option especially...

Very relaxing and trendy atmosphere. The food is excellent. Sampled both of the Benedicts and the hollandaise sauce was freshly made, the eggs were perfectly poached and both the ham (traditional) and smoked salmon (royale) was fresh and high quality. The coffees and teas were all very good and nicely presented. The chilaquiles were made with organic chicken and were very tasty.

The staff made us feel a little rushed, despite the fact that we continued to order more food, but that was minor compared to how wonderful the experience...

Pocas veces dejo una mala reseña, y aclaro: la comida es deliciosa, el mesero que nos atendió súper simpático y amable y el lugar es espectacular. Sí recomiendo que visiten, el lugar es hermoso.

PERO la “jefa” de turno de la mañana del domingo 3 de agosto, una actitud déspota y el mesero que me cobró, me cobró MÁS PROPINA de la que le había dicho y POR ESO estoy dejando esta reseña.

Reservé por el Mastercard Dining Program que tiene grupo Carolo con las tarjetas platinum/world elite de Santander. Mi ejecutivo me recomendó este lugar y lo reservé. Desde el inicio indiqué que quería hacer válido el convenio (que te hace un descuento sobre el total de la cuenta) y el primer mesero me dijo que sí se podía.

Ya al final el mesero ya no estaba, llegó otro y le indique lo mismo. Le habla a la “jefa” y llega y me dice súper déspota que: “solo es con tarjetas world elite” y yo ya no quise discutir y pagué la cuenta la verdad. Pero solo dejé el 10% de propina, y ya viendo el cargo en la tarjeta le puso el 15%, que tampoco es mucho son 150 pesos más, y está bien, normalmente el 15% es por un buen servicio. pero por el tema de la tarjeta quise dejar el 10% y que me hayan cobrado demás, aunado a que los términos y condiciones de este beneficio SÍ aplicaban y la actitud de “la jefa” se me hace de PÉSIMO gusto.
