Heres is what we liked: the waiters are definitely interested in delivering a great service experience. The restaurant is clean and well organized.

Now here is why we only gave 2 stars: The seafood we ordered (5 giant gambas & paella) was definitely not fresh but frozen shrimp/mussels/squid. It was very difficult to get the shrimp out of their shell. Unfortunately, the cook took SOOO much salt that it was almost impossible to taste anything but salt. It was really really salty and nothing a good Spanish restaurant should ever deliver to their guests keeping in mind that this is not a cheap backyard restaurant but a place where you easily pay 2.000$ MX (100$ +tip).

PS: we spent 90min in the restaurant and at least 80% of the time one of their managers was taking calls on his mobile phone sitting in the guest room at one of the tables. This is anything but...

Our experience was very disappointing. My wife ordered the fideua, it was the worst fideua ever, they put some mayo aoili, terrible! I ordered the Paella Valenciana, terrible too, I think they added some spice, comino, I do not know, But it was terrible. for our kids, we picked the albondigas because they do not even have 1 choice for kids, the waiter did not advise us about the strong taste it had, He never mentioned it comes with Jamon Iberico in the meat mix (pork, beef and prosciutto) Those meatballs were not even good for an adult, I think they cooked with a lot of red wine. Terrible! The only decent plate was a “Tortilla Española”, but who does not cook a good “Tortilla Española”? So, We do not recommend this “spanish...

While we felt Centro Castellano had strong service, the food was overall, poor. We started, sharing Croquetas Bacalao. These were very good. The Paella, which was strongly recommended by the wait staff, was candidly, horrible. It tasted like it was pulled from the deep freeze at Costco, heated in the microwave, and brought to our table. The rice was chubby-soggy and the dish lacked seafood. Of the seafood presented, the prawn was ok but the mussel was way dried out and had a dangerous rotten taste. We did not even try either of the two clams because they had the danger sign of not having opened during the cooking process. I would unfortunately definitely not recommend...

I only speak a little bit of Spanish, so I appreciated that someone asked me in English how I wanted my steak. This was a to go order and I was greeted with kindness and shown a table to relax at while my dinner was prepared. Interesting ambiance. The restaurant has several seating areas (maybe for private party options). I loved the scenic plates. I also love the reusable bag dinner came in. The food is good too. My steak with Swiss cheese dinner came with buttery mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, and a loaf of bread. Delicious!
