Morimoto — Restaurant in Mexico City

The quality-price ratio is bad, we had dinner for two and the bill was 3300+ pesos for average food with average quality ingredients it didn't taste bad but it wasn't good either, the service was okay until i left a tip lower than what the waiter wanted then he didn't said thanks and left with an angry face the only two good things about this place is the hostess which had a hearty welcome and the place was pretty and clean.

Fuimos especialmente por el cumpleaños de mi hijo de 8 años, le hacía mucha ilusión poder preparar su rollo en una actividad que ellos promueven.

Desde que llegamos dijeron que en mi reserva (que sí estaba) no aparecía la actividad de sushi kids, y que no había chef para realizarla, pero que "checarían".

Con esa promesa, pedimos bebidas y entradas, nos preguntaron si estábamos listos para ordenar platos fuertes, ordenamos y, antes de que se retirara el mesero, volví a preguntarle por la actividad para mí hijo, nos dijo que definitivamente no era posible: eso nos hubiesen dicho desde el inicio. Decidimos cancelar la orden, pagar el consumo y retirarnos.

Insinuaron que tal vez yo no hice correctamente la reserva, pero la persona que atendió mi llamada, 36 hrs antes, me había confirmado todas las condiciones de mi reservación (datos que seguro podían ver en su sistema).

El capitán y el mesero nos ofrecieron una disculpa, y me preguntaron si quería la tableta para anotar mi experiencia, mientras hacía eso llegó el chef (ya casi teníamos 1 hora en el lugar y ya habíamos pedido la cuenta).

Es una lástima que un lugar tan bonito, con alimentos de muy buena calidad y sabor, decepcione con su falta de comunicación interna y logística para las reservaciones de actividades...

Very disappointing experience- nothing close to Japanese cousine. Instead of tempura - shrimp nuggets in mayonnaise with the taste of old cooking oil and terrible quality mayo. One appetizer was lost, when I asked to delete it from bill they brought it after 10 min. Rice in rolls is far away from proper one. Not worth the money at all.
