Chicago Bernies Beef Bike — Restaurant in Mexico City

Im from Chicago. I felt homesick for a Chicago Beef Sandwich and this was NOT it. It was an ok attempt, but not good. I was so excited to come here, but the sandwiches lacked mayo and white onion, the white bread they used was stale and soggy. Don’t even get me started on the Giardiniera!!! Im pretty sure it had celery in it??!! It was not quality giardiniera, it was gross. The cheese fries with bacon EWW. They use a grainy cheese sauce that you can taste the flour in or something grainy it was bad and the bacon was so gross, hard, over fried ?? It barely resembled bacon .. why don’t they just use regular melted cheese ?? It was not worth the 15 dollars per person at all. Because it was nasty. If you’re from the USA don’t eat here. It’s not good. I hope this establishment does some simple research on some recipes on google because...

This place is incredible. If you are an In n Out fan, well, this place has their fries. They may not be animal style, but the garlic and Parmesan were delicious. (I am a true lover of the humble potato) Sorry, potato, but the burger was the star of this show. Mine had bacon and really good bacon at that. They already come with 2 beef patties. My only regret is that I didn't order the double version. But I doubt I could have finished it as the single was still very filling. Anyways, I will have to order a double on my next visit! This place had a whole vibe, blasting early Madonna from her Immaculate album. Totally brought me back to my childhood with my favorite uncles, man I do miss them. Give this place a try, you nor your wallet...

4 palabras para empezar: NO VALE LA PENA! Las hamburguesas están buenas a secas, pero el servicio y la atención simplemente es malisimo. Llegue con mi acompañante en domingo alrededor de las 5 pm, mucha gente afuera esperando y ok sabes que vas a esperar pero la chica que tenía la lista no llevó un orden correcto, dándole mesa al menos 3 comensales qué habían llegado después de nosotros (1er strike), revisó su lista y una vez que reclamamos nos dio mesa a regañadientes. Ya adentro luego de alrededor de 50 minutos de espera nos toman la orden, queríamos el Beef Sandwich (se supone es la especialidad por encima de las hamburguesas) pues ya no había, ok no pasa nada pedimos las hamburguesas, dos bebidas y las papas pero.... N bueno la comida llegó 40 minutos después (segundo strike), mi acompañante y yo estábamos a nada de pararnos e irnos, compartíamos mesa con otra pareja quien llegó antes que nosotros y a ellos ni si quiera les habían llevado su comida aún . Total comimos luego de casi hora y media desde que habíamos llegado, pero las papas, las benditas papas JAMÁS LLEGARON. Eso si, todos los pedidos de delivery salían y salían uno tras otro dejando descuidado al comensal qué estaba en el lugar. Al pedir la cuenta también tardaron en llevarla, la chica que cobró se disculpó pero pues al final ella no tiene la culpa sin embargo es evidente, demasiado que les explotó el boom de redes y nunca se adecuaron a la demanda, en resumen son hamburguesas buenas a secas pero por el tiempo, la atención y los descuidos neta no vale la pena esperar tanto tiempo. He comido mejores hamburguesas con mucho mejor servicio como Butchers and Sons e incluso Chubbies Burger qué son pick up Y delivery valen muchísimo...
