El Pozole de Moctezuma — Restaurant in Mexico City

Personally, I love this type of place very much. It is 'traditional', 'delicious', 'reasonably priced' and 'clean'. along with kindness However, while staying in Mexico, I liked this place that I went twice. Once, but at that time, the staff did not help with the serving. But at the other table, I couldn't feel good because I could see the staff's serving others. I want to avoid thinking that it was because we were Asians, but I couldn't help it. The next time we went with a Mexican friend, unlike before, they served all of our toppings and made the soup themselves. If they read this, I hope they will reply. Really, really good pozole and totally worth trying. I tried the pozole verde and added a raw egg, avocado, chicharrones, and sardines. I also added everything included with the pozole at no extra charge: onions, cilantro powder, chili, lime and mezcal. I wish had time to come back to try the pozole rojo!

The place is in a rural neighborhood and hard to find so I suggest taking an Uber or taxi there. The restaurant is unmarked. Look for a door with the number 12 in...

Justamente asistí a principios de octubre de 2024...el pozole tenia buen sabor, no obstante lo que no me agrada de este lugar es que pesan las porciones de maíz y carne, dependiendo del tamaño requerido. En otras ocasiones he tomado el agua de Jamaica y desafortunamente no es agua natural sino de jarabe, pésima y nada recomendable. Ordené como postre una rebanada de pay de queso con zarzamora qué bien es sabido que los venden en Costco y al llegar el plato ohh decepción... la rebanada mísera y tan delgada que casi caía de lado. Posteriormente, observando a detalle la carta, me percaté del valor de sus "Alacranes" el cual se me hace sumanente excesivo y lo menciono porque los he adquirido en otro lugar a mitad de precio e incluso mejor calidad. Antes de retirarme acudí al sanitario en el que por cierto no había agua sino más bien un tambo y una cubeta, aunado a ello, sus baños están aparentemente limpios pero demasiado pequeños, tanto así que para personas de estatura y complexión normal, no hay opción más que hacer tus necesidades casi de pie toda vez que si cierras la puerta te estorban las rodillas y saldrás con la ropa húmeda. Finalmente hago la precisión de que no es un lugar para ir a ver deportes, según lo menciona el propietario en sitio de Google, ya que a ellos les interesa que consumas tus alimentos lo más rápido posible para continuar...
