Goyo’s Burgers Roma — Restaurant in Mexico City

Unremarkable, underwhelming, and overpriced vegan burgers with painfully slow service. After hearing the hype from my vegan friends, I decided to try these burgers in the Condesa neighborhood. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took forever to get someone’s attention. We were on the verge of leaving when someone finally approached us, albeit with a bit of an attitude.

We ordered the classic burgers, a side of sweet potato fries, and a drink, with the total coming out to over $300 pesos, which felt hyper expensive. It took another long wait to receive our food, only to discover that there was no restroom due to a lack of running water—highly unsanitary. They offered a portable sink to wash hands, but it didn’t address the bigger issue of not having proper facilities.

When the burgers finally arrived, they were lukewarm at best and tasted just as underwhelming. The sweet potato fries were passable but far from special. To top it off, it took forever to pay the bill, cementing the overall negative experience. This place certainly didn’t live up to the hype, and I wouldn’t recommend it based...

Outstanding!!!! This place has been in Condesa for a couple of years but I only ate here for the first time a couple of days ago. I wish I hadn't waited. I was craving a burger and though I'm not vegan, I do try to reduce my consumption of animal products. Goy's did not disappoint. I ordered at the counter: burger, fries and beer. The person who took my order could not have been more friendly. We made small talk about the restaurant--they really made me feel welcome. Everything is made to order. The girl that brought over our food messed up and brought over an extra order of fries and set them in front of my kids. (Of course they were gonna immediately try them) she automatically informs me that I only ordered 2 and she set down 3. Instead of acknowledging its her bad she says shell charge me for them. When it was clearly her fault. Im not gonna argue over 4 dollar fries but it almost seemed like I was scammed into buying extra fries.
