I don't know how I ended up in this restaurant. I would say this was the worst meal in the world. The worst food in the world. The place is icky and sticky. You walk in here like you walk into a bathroom and hover over a toilet. You just don't want to touch anything.
I was just coming in for a burger and because I don't understand Spanish, I'm a moron, and I sit down anyway. The waiter explains to me that it's all you can eat. I should have gotten up and left at that time. They say it's all you can eat but yo only have an hour. Well we were there and I figured I'd make the best of it but unfortunately if you tell me it's all you can eat, I can't help myself., and if it's an hour I'm going to eat like a crazy man. However, everything that came out was really not great quality food.
Okay, we have to order drinks. I had no idea that they were going to come out and gallon jugs. Really the worst quality drinks you're going to ever have. Full of sugary sweet who knows what and poor quality beer. Maybe I just didn't know what I was ordering but I was hoping for one good thing. Not going to happen.
15 minutes in I gave up the ghost and said oh hell no I'm not ordering one more thing. We're going to get out of here and eat somewhere else.
I am such a bad customer and American and I told the waiter that the food basically sucked. He said he had to tell his manager but his manager didn't give a damn. Basically get the hell out... But after you pay of course.
I guess if you're a college kid with very little money this could be an amazing night out. But I look back to my college days and I don't think even back then I would have eaten in a place like this.
I don't think any self-respecting Mexican would be caught dead in this place, but if you're an American that appreciates good food and dining and you're thinking about having some late night food and you look at this place with great ratings, beware, it's not for you. Street food will be so much better and less expensive. I think taking a chance on getting sick is much better than eating the food here.
On a more serious note. This restaurant is really bad because the waiter said that the filtered water is broken and that I had to order bottled water. Not sure if he was telling the truth but either way that's extremely bad.
Bathroom seemed fairly clean. They take credit...
Read moreVisiting here from the USA, we've come to mexico city a few times. We stopped here to try it since we seen it on YouTube from youtuber (Yo Soy Migue). However unfortunately we will probably not return here in the future. Their food wasnt the greatest, their service wasnt the best, the atmosphere was nice but too loud with music. First there was a male waiter followed my a women waitress, our order continued getting mixed up between the both waiters, receiving wrong items, orders not correct in the way it was asked for twice, never received 2 of the burger orders, we finally just canceled the burgers and just went with more boneless wings. Took forever for orders to get out between every order. Music is too loud we all had to continue repeating our orders over again multiple times because the waiters cant hear the orders the 1st or 2nd time over the loud music.
Buffalo & cajun wings were good, lemon pepper wing orders had too much seasoning, way to salty, the burgers weren't that great, the chicken buffalo ranch burger wasnt great either, the corn ribs were good, potatoes chips with cheese & bacon was ok, the cucumber drink was good, the strawberry lemonade was descent. Overall disappointed with the experience there, the lady waitress did come to our table to apologize on her own for the service and offered 2 free corn in a cup for all the trouble. I really wanted to like this place and wanted it to be a good experience but unfortunately it wasnt for us this time around.
Take into consideration how much food you order, you will be charged for the food you dont finish eating. So order...
Read moreSan Petter La Roma offers a delightful all-you-can-eat experience in the heart of Roma Norte. During my afternoon visit, I was promptly seated without any wait, thanks to the ample seating available.
Food – 4/5 The variety and quality of dishes are commendable. From flavorful tacos to crispy wings, each item was prepared with care and tasted fresh. The buffet's pricing, reportedly around $239 MXN, offers good value for the assortment available.
Service – 3/5 The staff was courteous and attentive when present. However, there were moments when I experienced delays in ordering additional dishes, despite the presence of multiple servers. This inconsistency slightly detracted from the overall dining experience.
Atmosphere – 4/5 The ambiance is inviting, with a lively yet comfortable setting. However, at times, there was an unpleasant odor, possibly emanating from an external source, which was a minor inconvenience.
Location Situated at Av. de los Insurgentes Sur 234, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, San Petter La Roma is easily accessible and well-placed for those exploring the area.
