I highly recommend to eat at Las Polas to try delicacies of the Yucatan region if you don't have the chance to go there directly. One of their flagship fish is the cochinita pibil (pork meat slowly cooked in its jus, spices and vegetables, not spiciy) which should be tried in one way or another (you can have it on tacos, in a torta or as a main dish). The agua horchata with almond bits is also very delicious. Watch out on the sauces placed on the table though, most of them are really spicy but dishes aren't.

We really enjoyed the food and all the tortilla chips and beans, salsas and extra toppings provided with the meal. We sampled the tamal, suckling pig torta, panuchos, Trump de Poc Chuc and the Sopa de Lima. All were excellent and a good value. The meat was tender and flavorful and the portion was good. Had an awesome and delicious experience at Las Polas del Valle! We were seated and helped by Geronimo the whole time and he was super attentive! We were visiting from New York and he gave us recommendations and took great care of us. The food was phenomenal and we couldn’t stop ordering food.
