The food was decent, but nothing extra special. The beans were probably the most tasty and the beer was nice & cold. Onion soup was definitely not French but an almost raw onion mildly flavored broth with a soggy slice of bread on top, the cheese was sprinkled under that soggy bread. However, that's forgivable, my bad for ordering French onion soup at a taquieria. The worst part of all was the unfriendly and rude service. As it was our 1st (and likely last) visit which had been on our bucket list considering they've been around since 1969... we were excited to ask what was their best, most popular dish to which the waiter responded with a "permiso" and just walked away as if he didn't have time to answer our question and we should just let him know when we're ready to order. So, that's a big no thank you to this place. Ayer sábado pasamos a probar, porque quedaba en el camino y teníamos hambre. La verdad no me fijé en su página web hasta después que ya estábamos adentro. Mi opinión muy personal sobre su comida: Siendo honesta debe mejorar la sazón de la carne asada ( todas) y la tostadas están todas quemadas, por favor cariño a la comida. De mi parte solo puedo recomendar es el frijol charro que ofrecen de cortesía. Si tenía mucho sabor y amor en la cocción. El agua de Jamaica también está pasable. Mi hijo dice que si le gustó el taco al pastor, yo no lo probé la verdad. Yo pedí fue el volcán de bistec con queso y tacos de costillas. Repito, sugiero mínimo ponerle sal gruesa y pimienta a la carne, super simple, y las tostadas muy quemadas 🤦, y no ponen verduras, solo un pico de gallo con las salsas, que creo que sin eso no pasaría el taco. Sobre los precios no valen la pena por muchos años de experiencia que tienen en el mercado, no lo están demostrando en el sabor y calidad 🙄, es muy caro para lo que ofrecen, se le debe respeto al comensal. El servicio del personal está bien, el ambiente no hace match con nombre ni con la comida que ofrece, pero limpio que es lo importante. Estoy siendo objetiva con mi experiencia, y si deben mejorar si desean seguir en el mercado. Algunas fotos de los platos, ni me motivó tomarle foto a todo 🫣. Espero mejoren su visión y misión, y sobre todo ajustar esos precios de acuerdo a lo que ofrecen. No están ubicados en Santa Fe, ni Polanco, ni Condesa para...

My happiest meal of the month. I ordered a steak, the smoky and tender, very well cooked. Cheese baked as the side is half crispy, half melting. I truly enjoyed. The free tortillas are the best I've ever had in Mexico, slightly burned, but it's why it's good. Also the dining environment tells you this shop has been around for a long time.
