Maque Café — Restaurant in Mexico City

If you go to have breakfast, the sweet rolls in this place are really nice but the rest of the food leaves much to be desired and at a hefty price 240 pesos for the equivalent of huevos motuleños with exactly 6 1/8 inch squares of ham. They don’t have breakfast combos or ‘paquetes’ and DO NOT serve coffee refills so if you order more coffee you will be charged. Cannot recommend that place for tourists. We speak a bit Spanish, still the waiter focused on local ppl and let us wait forever. The worst: He took forever when we had to get going and let him know. En general este lugar me gustaba mucho pero las 2 últimas veces que fui en servicio y calidad de la comida no me gustó. Pan del emparedado duro , un gerente no muy servicial llegando a tomar la orden comiendo y masticando como haciendo un favor porque ningún otro mesero aparecía. Me tocó un día prácticamente vacía la sucursal de altavista y parecía que nadie me notaba en espera de que me atendieran. Al parecer si no es la mesa asignada de un mesero, aunque el otro te vea como comensal necesitado, pasa de largo y con suerte le avisa al mesero. Total alguien llegó hasta que tuve que preguntar si alguien amablemente después de varios minutos ahí sentada me podía atender. Definitivamente no iría a comer.
