Pros: good variety of Japanese comfort food, good prices, good portions, the place is nice and the atmosphere is authentic.
Cons: service was awkward as the waiters and their lead were constantly over us talking to us with a familiarity that was uncomfortable and making us feel pressured to leave even though we were consuming food - someone needs to tell them giving a good service means being respectful and not talking or making jokes nobody asked for.
The nigiris were awful and no different from a commercial food chain. I know I did not ask for ōtoro, but the tuna was terrible nonetheless and impossible to eat. The quality of the fish in general is pretty bad for a restaurant like this one. I recommend not going but if you are already there then go with safe options like fried food, bowls, skewers, curry but to avoid the sushi altogether because this place does not take care of the quality of its raw protein - no wonder why the prices are so cheap. For dessert we had matcha tempura ice with 3 different sauces and coffee jelly with condensed milk sauce. We highly recommend this restaurant and due to its popularity we suggest you to make a reservation and come a bit before time to make sure you...
