Classic Mexican grill with premium setting and a constant high quality

The menu is concentrated around beef cuts and other typical Mexican grill specialties. I highly recommend the meat empanada with its Chimichurri sauce as a starter, followed by either a beef cut served on its flamming hot plate or the salmon. The sauces prepared with the meat or fish are simply delicious. For the dessert we tried the flammed strawberries and the cream strawberries, both simple yet tasty, with the former being directly prepared in front of the table.

Other great advantages of La Mansion are the stable quality across time and restaurant (several restaurants across the city including one at the airport), the excellent service and the presence of musicians ( Mexican Trio) who can play some Mexican songs right in front of your table. The restaurant has several rooms with different levels of privacy making it ideal for family events.

Many local Mexicans come here regularly and one can eat there all day round, from breakfast until late in the night.

El día 15.09.19 acudimos a comer a las 17:00 hrs, a las 19:00 el mesero nos informa q van a cerrar la barra q debemos pagar la cuanta, pagamos $5060.00, nos enseña el promocional de la cena con un costo de $750.00 por persona, nuestra respjesta fue q no gracias, ya no deseabamos cenar. Acto seguido a las 19:30 hrs el.ismo mesero nos corrio, dijo q la mesa la tenía q arreglar xq ya estaba reservada para laa 20:00hs. Llame al gerente (acudio una persona q no se presento) le informe lo sucedido, este hombre nos dijo lo mismo. A lo q respondi: debieron informar al ingresar a su negocio la mansión insurgentes q únicamente teniamos 2 hrs para comer, obtuve como respuesta q no pensaron q demorariamos en comer. Nos exigio terminar nuestra bebida para retirarnos del lugar. No llame a la policia porque estaban presentes mis hijos, no quise asustarlos. A parte de todo el maltrato hoy 16.9.19 estoy con dearrea. Nada recomendable para viajeros. El chile en nogada está pésimo, lo hacen con fruta seca, no utilizan fruta natural como lo es la receta original. El chile en nogada muy recomendable en el rest Hosteria de Santo Domingo (lo tienen todo el año) y en el Contramar ( realmete delicioso). Si desean ser maltratados y un malestar estomacal acuda a la mansión insurgentes. Antes de entrar pregunten cuanto tiempo les proporcionan para comer? Acudiré a la profeco para informar q no existe esa información al ingresar al rest. Así mismo, tampoco el q pueden corrernos con nuestro vino...

Wickedly overpriced. Service was quite slow for a place that wasn't very busy. Staff including maitre'd do not listen to customer wishes and carry on regardless and do what they want to do. Music played to create ' atmosphere ' was the worst I've ever come across, banging electro that gives you a headache whilst trying to enjoy your meal. Have they not heard of playing perhaps some Argentinian folk music instead to tie into the whole Argentina experience? It's not...
