A different twist on a burger shop that wasn’t really my favorite. On a quiet Monday night, we were the only customers there, and the service started off a bit dull, almost as if the waiter wasn’t thrilled about us coming in. We were seated and handed menus. I ordered a classic burger with a side of sweet potato fries (fries aren’t included with the burger) and a Dr. Pepper—which was a nice touch since it’s hard to find in CDMX.
The sweet potato fries came out first, and while they looked decent, something about them seemed off. The ranch and barbecue sauce combination for dipping also felt mismatched with the fries. Then came the burger, which was massive but had a strange appearance. The cheese was overly melted, rather than a standard slice of cheese, which wasn’t to my liking. Despite being open to trying it, I just couldn’t enjoy it after a few bites. The lettuce choice also seemed odd and didn’t quite work with the burger.
Service did improve as the meal progressed, but it was clearly a one-person operation, with only one server running the entire restaurant, which led to things being a bit slow. Overall, the experience felt off—everything from the food to the service had an odd vibe. While it’s a slightly different take on a burger shop, it just didn’t click for me. I paid around $300 for the burger, fries, and Dr. Pepper (the Dr. Pepper was probably the highlight...

Read morei had the chipotluda. it was a good burger and flavor combo, although the patty itself was nothing special. i would definitely describe this place as toppings based burgers. still enjoyed it and the place is worth a try if you're in the area, a lot of interesting options to choose from. fries were good, although cheese seemed a bit watery/cool to my liking, and mostly stuck...
