I went to the restaurant and asked the manager for a good table for the following evening because I had an important meeting. He kindly showed me the restaurant and we chose a table which my guest and I would be happy with. The next day after giving my reservation details to the lady at the reception, she unfortunately took us to the wrong table. I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of my guest so I didn’t say anything
After a while the waiter brought the menus, but they were in Spanish. I ordered a Martini Rosso and my guest an Aperol with Prosecco. My guest got what they ordered but I got a Martini Bianco; again I didn’t want to start complaining. Next the waiter brought an English menu which looked like it had some pages missing. Comparing the menus it was obvious that the English version was not complete, so we asked for a complete one. He gave us half of it and said that some specialties are only available in Spanish. Ok no problem.... we ordered our dinners.
Unlike every other table in the restaurant we didn’t receive any bread or appetizers before our meal. After a while they brought our dinner, with bread. I ordered a steak with spinach and potatoes baked with cheese. I expected they would bring a spoon or a fork so that I could serve the potatoes onto my plate. It didn’t come so I asked on two occasions and finally got a spoon when I had nearly finished the steak. I couldn´t eat the spinach, because it was undercooked. The only positive was the dessert; the tiramisu was really good. My guest wanted to leave early, because it was too noisy to talk about business, so I asked the waiter for the bill. Of course the waiter didn´t understand English, so my guest had to translate for me. I hope that the right people will read this recommendation and some improvements to the service...
Read moreI was very impressed by this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere was all 5 star! It is located in the JW Marriott Santa Fe. I suggest eating at their patio area; it is indoors but the windows are open and have nice umbrellas to block the sun coming in. Very nicely decorated! The staff are very attentive. We went a couple of times and tried the homemade truffle ravioli, shrimp/asparagus risotto and lasagne and all tasted perfect! For 30 pesos per person you get homemade bread, truffle balsamic, olive oil and fresh cheese off the block. Definitely a must-visit...
Read moreI've been at Quattro when I organized a family dinner. Typical Italian cuisine, excellent and fresh food, excellent service, they are very professional. We were almost 30 guests and they managed the situation extremely well. The chef is Italian and I can just say thanks for the excellent treatment. As Italian I felt like at home. High-level environment and amazing atmosphere. When I will come back to Mexico, for sure it will be a pleasure have a dinner or...
