Sonora Grill — Restaurant in Mexico City

I was here with a large group, we had a reservation for 20. They don't let you to your reserved area unless you have at least 50% of the people and if you don't cover that at the time of the reservation, they will give you a table only for the amount of people present. They will deny access to people you had accounted for if they consider you have filled your reservation(even if you have only 15 and you reserved for 20). The tables too close together and there is barely space for the waiters to get by, let alone have someone try to get to the bathroom. The food is not bad and drinks are ok but serice is terrible and just bad...

They just recently remodeled this restaurant and they did a nice job. The atmosphere is great and trendy. Its definitely a popular place. Their food is abundant so be cautious if you are ordering appetizers and entrees. Their drinks and cocktails are REALLY good. This is a good place to celebrate a birthday or other occasion. Acudí a la sucursal ubicada en la colonia Nápoles, el restaurante es bonito y sencillo. Fui entre semana, por lo que estaba tranquilo y había mucho espacio para elegir. La atención fue rápida y atenta. Ofrecen frijoles como cortesía, estaban ricos. Pedimos los siguientes alimentos: Jugo de carne con tuétano: Porción normal pero sin sabor. Aguachile de camarón: Estaba muy rico, solo que al ser para compartir, no me dieron un plato para colocar mis porciones. No hubo arrachera en ninguna de sus presentaciones, por lo que tuvimos que pedir tacos de suadero. La carne terrible se veía oreada y sin sabor, son más recomendables los tacos afuera del metro. Salmón; rescatable su sabor y presentación. Aguas de frutas: Frescas y muy ricas. Mojitos: Un poco dulces y nos los dieron dobles sin preguntarnos. La cuenta fue aprox. De $2,000. Demasiado caro para el pésimo servicio en sus alimentos. Por tener baja demanda, los meseros en general se encontraban platicando y bromeando entre ellos. Lo que no fue nada grato, es ver cómo se expresaban de forma morbosa y grosera de las mujeres (clientes y quienes pasaban por la calle), criticando su cuerpo o como iban vestidas.
